Overall, really disappointing as bulbs have started to blow after less than a month after careful installation.The bulbs fice a strong, clean light just on the right side of warm and light up immediately, with no warm-up. They were also packaged very well, with each bulb in it's own protective sleeve that allowed installation without touching the bulb itself.However, these things should last for years and two have failed within a month. Total waste of money. Refund requested.

I had high hopes for this type of bulb. Fitted a new light fixture and put these brand new bulbs in. Looked fantastic, very bright and easy to fit. 4 days in and 2 bulbs have gone already. Don't hold out much hope for the rest. At this rate I'll be better off changing back to good old fashioned bulbs. More cost effective than changing them every 4 days. Updated, 1 week later and now 4 out of the pack of 6 bulbs gone, recommend anyone looking at these pay a little extra and get a branded name bulb. These are not worth even a try!

Bought this pack of bulbs to replace existing bulbs that have been in use for around 5 years. Product looked great and write up promised a very long life for the bulbs. However, within two weeks of being fitted two of the bulbs have stopped working. This is disappointing, and has made an excellent value for money purchase, not such a good buy. I'll see how the remainder of the bulbs fair with use.

Not great. Had five of these in the living room main light fixture. I was impressed with them to start with. Reasonably easy to install. However after a few months of usage, one of them started flickering, then became really dim and not giving out any useful bit of light. A few weeks later the same happened to the second, and now while I write this review the same pattern begins with the third one. Next time I’d rather pay a bit extra and opt for a quality brand. Definitely would not buy again.

The life of these bulbs makes them uneconomical despite the energy saving. Already fitted 3 in as many months, the last one barely 2 weeks of occasional use, less than 20 hours! If another fails as quickly I will demand a refund. Check alternate suppliers who have better reviews. The step ladder has been in the bathroom to fix the lights more times since purchasing these than in the last 15 years, - hopeless!

Within 4 days of putting these bulbs in the started to flicker, one stopped working and when the light was turned off there was a weird glow coming from them for hours afterwards. Returned to seller with no problems and purchased some more from a different retailer which have been fine.

While this bulbs are as described I am sorry to say one has failed just over 4 weeks from installation in a new light fitting. A little disappointing for a product having a stated life of 22.8 years when used for 3 hours a day. It's too early to say how the others will perform.

Not sure on the life span, first bulb has failed after a few days... at most 50 hours. Fortunately the pack size I had to buy meant I had spares.Light seems steady and no flicker or hum.I’ve gone for 3 stars for now, anymore fail and it’ll be down to 1.
