They won’t, I wear hair extensions with even more clips through metal detectors at games, the hospital, many different airports, etc. and never had any issues

Yes! I have natural red hair and it matched mine perfectly. But if your hair is more of the orangey red, then I don't think it will.

I have thin hair in the front which has left me without bangs. Could I use this extension in the back and find maybe a clip in bang?

I don't see why not. If you clip these in around the line of your ears...it should leave enough room for you to clip in bangs on top

Does it look okay when you put your hair up? I dont want to take chances at my nephews birthday party at the pool.

If you want to put your hair up while wearing extensions the trick is to put them in opposite of how you would wearing them down. so you would want to flip your head down and put them in going downwards and then out your hair up.
