Excellent product. I have purchased many lexar ssd's in the past with no issues. Very reliable drives. Perfect for saving anything you wish from pictures to purchased AAA PC Games. The speeds are fast enough and consistent with this type of drive. Reliability, Price and sustainability are at the top of my concerns when purchasing any ssd from amazon. Very affordable SSD for installing an operating system or using in an enclosure as portable storage. It was easy to set up and worked fine with my older PC when I did a fresh install of Windows 10. Boot-up was quick and the system feels a lot more responsive than it did before. For gaming or larger file storage I’d go for at least 1TB, but this size is ideal as a dedicated OS drive to keep things separate, unless you’re after one of the faster M.2 style drives. Overall, it has been a perfect replacement for my previously failing hard drive.

Solid for a cheap price works fine

I bought this Lexar SSD for a retro PC running Windows 98 and Windows XP, and it works excellently. The system feels much faster and more responsive compared to a traditional hard drive. Installation was straightforward, and performance is smooth and effective for everyday tasks on older hardware. Boot times and program loading are noticeably improved, making the whole setup much more enjoyable to use. Overall, a reliable and efficient SSD that performs very well, even in older systems. A great upgrade for retro or legacy PCs.

I bought this when my other hard drive in my PC stopped working. It arrived quickly and was easy to install and get up and running. It performs really well as my main hard drive for my OS. Would recommend it as it is not noisy when the PC is on and it runs at a good speed.

Replaced old laptop HDD with this. Used a gparted live usb to copy the data over with dd. Speeds are acceptable but there's faster sata ssds. Was getting about 200 to 250MBps for writes during the copy of over 200GB from HDD to SSD. Read speeds are great full 500+MBps. Lowest priced ssd i could find anywhere prices are ridiculous right now
