Justin Original Work Boots Men's J-Max Work Boot

Pros: Good fit and support. Feels good wearing them.Cons: The current style seems to be make new stuff look old. They look used and you can't put a spit shine on them as they are coated. They are new, just the outside looks rough.Listed as tan, received brown.A good boot and I will buy them again when I need the next pair. I believe they will hold up very well. This is not that cheaply made discount stuff, but good USA made!

Been wearing them since I got them and a very natural fit to the foot. I have a pair of Chippewa boots that I bought for work, but refuse to wear them for that because they are the lightest most comfortable pair of boots I've owned. These are fantastic as well and I just can't afford to have another pair of boots sitting around too nice to wear to work....otherwise these would be pair number 2 of too nice for work. Don't hesitate, these are very well made boots, comfortable and American made....

I had high hopes for Justin work boots. They are well made, I just don't think they are designed as well as they are constructed.The big problem with these is that they are designed like cowboy boots. The toe is too pointy and the heel has a rough sewn stitch vertically dead center up the back. Standing or Sitting they are very comfortable. Walking on level ground they are fine. But go downhill and you immediately see that your feet cram into the pointy toe and then your heels lift ever so slightly up and down against the stitches. Might as well have stuck a rat tail file in the back. They rasp your heels on hills and stairs. The toe of the boot needs to be rounder, and the stitches should not be have been left exposed in the heel. They are shaped like a cowboy boot, not a real human foot. Very comfortable... They fit everywhere but in the heels. Love the look and construction of them.I AM a female who wears these boots for work (I didn't get the female ones bc I didn't want steel toe)... But I've bought men's boots before and know my size.However, these seem to fit very loosely around my Achilles/heel area. My heel slips up and down in the boot, but if I'd have gotten a smaller size they def. would not have fit.I am trying heel bumpers/pads to keep my heels from slipping, but it's so so right now. Probably will have to take them to an actual cobbler to get custom heel inserts made.So just be aware... Male or female, if you have narrow heels, you may suffer from heel slipping with these boots.

Still breaking the boots in, but comfortable so far. I normally wear a size 11 in most shoes/boots, the boots that I ordered are 10 1/2 and they still seem a little large. I dont think its the length as much as the overall room. My feet seem to swim in the boots a bit. Ill probably wear a much thicker sock, or a second sock to take up the room. I dont have enough experience in them to give above avaerage rating at the moment.

These boots are great. I work construction doing survey type work and spend 10-12 hours on my feet 6 days a week. I have worn ariat, wolverine, caterpillar, georgia boot, and tony llama and none of those boots match up to justins. The longest a pair of boots lasted for me before these was a pair of ariats that lasted about 8 months. The first pair of these made it 18 months. I highly recommend these boots.

I've been Justin boots for 30 years and have to buy boots yearly as I work in them daily all day. When I need a pair I can send the wife to pick me up a pair while in town and never a problem .Don't know why but these hurt my feet within a few minutes of walking in them . I had to return them and try a different size .only to have the same problem . I gave up on Justin's.

Perfect fit, we order this same work boot for my husband as soon as the previous pair is worn out. Last time was about 4 years ago. That is pretty amazing as he works on a grain farm, works with cattle and drives semi truck.
