Good Night, Lightning (Disney/Pixar Cars)

This bedtime book for little ones is super fun, the storyline is very short and probably only has 5 or 6 sentences total. But our Cars loving toddler loves it. The pages of this boardbook is textured which is fun and glows. Use a strong flashlight to "charge up" the glow in the dark parts ahead of time and they'll be obsessed.

Great bedtime book for toddler! My son loves that this book glows in the dark and we light it up for bedtime every night. We love that it’s simple and not too long. Great quality bedtime book!

This book is adorable! It glows in the dark and delights my grandson. I will forewarn you that you have to hold the book up to a light, page by page, before it will actually glow. The glowing part delighted my grandson. Even if you do not use the glow in the dark portion, the book has raised things on each page which is fun for a toddler.

My son is 3 and obsessed with CARS lately. My mom and I both got him this book, so now we have two of these. Unfortunately, it’s a really short story. We were so excited to read it before bed last night, but there’s only a few pages and one simple line on each. It’s also really hard to get each page to glow. Unless you charge each page in natural or artificial light, they don’t glow. How are you supposed to open up each page to “charge” them?!! I guess you could open up a page and let it sit out for a bit, then turn the page and repeat. All in all, it was a pretty big letdown reading this last night. He still had fun pointing out all of the characters and asked me to read it numerous times. That wasn’t a problem since it only took about 60 seconds to get through the book! 😅 I recommend this book for kiddos under 2, maybe 3. Hope this helps! 😉

Cute little book. Love it at night time it glows.

Very disappointed! The book barely glows even after being held to the light for a long time. My son asked me why we turned off the light since we needed the light to read! The glow is so weak that it might as well be non existent. I've had other glow books before that are fun and bright in the dark, so I know how bright it can get. This does not even come close. Just the cover is passable as a glow in the dark item, but even that isn't super impressively bright. I've read some other reviews where people says it has a good glow. I don't know if they don't know what to expect and are just impressed with the glow on the cover, or if I got a dud, but either way I'm going to return this. ** UPDATE ** Updating to 3 stars for exceptional customer service. I expected to have to drive my happy butt to find a Kohl's in order to return this, but they told me to just keep it and they just sent me out another one. Full disclosure though - I got the second book, but my to year old too y of with it before I could test it that evening. Now we are missing a book. Back down to one. And it doesn't glow very well, but I have no idea if it is the new one or the original one...

My grandson, who loves Cars, is absolutely delighted with this book & we haven’t even seen it glow in the dark yet!

It lights in the dark my son loves it. However it’s very short though suitable for 2 yrs.
