Uncle Milton - Wall Friends - Lightning McQueen

We bought two- Frozen and Cars theme which was a hit for both kids. I think it is a fairly good value for the money in that I have given $4 for a Frozen pen or candy that is more disposable. It is a little more than 1 foot tall and lightweight. This made a nice present for traveling during Christmas. It is very lightweight plastic- about the same or less than batteries are packaged in but I bought two and both survived luggage on our return home. It is pretty bright (has 2 levels) and both my kids like them. It is loud and doesn't have a volume control which I would say is a con and also we have used the Frozen one for 4 nights and the batteries in the unit need replaced already. Like others have said it is worthless without the remote. I put comman velcome on the wall handing and also the remote to store it during the day. Also the remotes are interchangeable with the Uncle Milton Cars light. I vascilated between 3 or 4 stars but it is a hit with the kids who recently expressed being "scared of the dark" because of a stupid Caillou story line. The only other thing and this might be nit picky is that the vocals are not oriented toward decompression around bedtime. The Cars one has a very loud engine sound that if it is set off by rolling on the remote startles the sleeping child. I like that the light stays on for quite some time after it is started to allow kids time to sleep.

This stupid thing is sooo cute. My son (2.5 years old) loves it and asks for the remote before naps and bedtime. He has masted the point and push very quickly. We've used it for not quite two months and the batteries are still good in both. But he doesn't have exclusive use of it either. Only before bedtimes for a few minutes. It is relatively small. It's incredibly cheap feeling - a battery box inside a piece of plastic. Therefore we hung ours high on the wall so as to diminish the possibility of our son being able to reach it and take it down - and then most likely easily destroy it. While I prefer one of those animals that projects stars on the ceiling, my son seems to prefer this. The light only stays on about 10-15 minutes which is good because otherwise it's bright enough he would just sit and play.

Got Lightnig McQueen for my sons 4th birthday! Bought ahead to be prepared, but didn't expect it to look like pre-used, dissapointed at this point... The gloss of it has visibly shabby lines and spots on the hood, which caught your eyes at first look! Overall, it's cute and it has "Try me!" button additional to remote control that on the box frame and only two phrases he repeats instead of other that can see on the back pack. Hoping it will be more through remote control. Will update my review soon.

My boys love this light. It is a great size and has really fun sayings. It was really easy to put up and seems to be pretty secure. I wish it had different light settings and wasn't so loud. Even with a lower volume and a higher, they both seem pretty loud...although this does provide me with the knowledge that at least one of my boys is awake when I am downstairs and I can still hear it. It's so well loved in our house that I have to change the batteries a lot.

Its great, has an auto shut off. The only thing I could complain about is every time you turn it on it makes a loud car revving sound or he talks. Its great for when were getting ready for bed, but if he wants to turn it back one in the middle of the night it scares him because its so loud, we lowered the volume as low as it can go. So we end up not really using it as much, wish we had the option to turn sound off completely.

My son loves this toy. It would be great if the manufacturer could incorporate several more one-offs from the movie. The only negative is that pressing the button on the remote does not always activate Lightning. Sometimes the button has to be pressed several times. I would give this toy five stars if not for this.

Bought for my sine cars bedroom. I prefer it on the low brightness setting. My son loves to press the button on the remote and make it talk. I let him play with it while getting ready for bed. Then I take the remote away at bedtime. It stays lit up for 10 minutes and automatically shuts off after that. It doesn’t stay on all night which I like. But helps to get him into bed. Would recommend. My three year old loves it.

I bought this item for my grand son who just turned two. He loves the movie cars and his whole room is decorated in cars. I sought to find him something he didn't have and I found this item. It is perfect and he LOVES it. Anytime anyone comes over he will get the remote control and have the car to talk and light up. I am very pleased with this item. It is thin plastic so make sure it is hung out of the child's reach. It could break easily. It will last a long time and get lots of use as long as he can't reach it. It is a great night light that sits off automatically.

Brought for my cars obsessed son to use as a night light. Very happy with it and love that it had two brightness levels. The fact it talks was a nice little touch. Only draw back is that if the light needs to be turned on you can't do so without the sound so he risks waking his little brother who he shares a room with

My kid is enjoying it for one year now, he still loves the wall lamp and asks for it every night.I wish it had an always-on mode, since the lamp stops after 10-15 mins of being on.

My grandson loves it.

Stop working after 2 weeks bough brand new Duracell batteries and nothing :-(

It's great. My 7 year old loves it!
