I've been using this product for a few years. I love how tiny the softgels are (similar, but smaller to a vitamin E). They're very easy to swallow. If you use a pill box, make sure you check your pills before swallowing, or double check the box, because sometimes they stick. Don't get me wrong, they've never leaked & never felt sticky or wet. They've been perfect*. The only imperfections is when I order during the cooler months, and they look & feel chalky. The manufacturer says this doesn't interfere with it's efficacy. But, when you know it should be clear and smooth, it doesn't feel healthy ingesting anything but the best. I chose this brand over others because I like the safe ingredients. My Vitmin D levels were like years ago. My doctor prescribed 50,000 IU a week for about a month, and then 2,000 iu (75mcg) daily forever. I get retested every year, and my levels are perfect now. 2,000 iu (75mcg) plenty. There are hazards to taking too much. But, I feel a lot better taking this, and it's a very good value for the money, especially when it's on sale. I bought a year's supply, so I won't need to order in the cooler months. I tried showing a comparison size to a penny, but apparently that's not allowed.
