This is a big bowl and useful for not only rinsing rice, but all fruit, vegetables and dried beans and pulses. You can also use it as a colander. The 2.5 quart is the size I ordered as it has the drainage holes in the bottom. It is big for me for a one to two portion of rice, but I am keeping it because I will use it. Being bigger, you just have to consider storage, especially, if, like me, you have a small kitchen.

Great bowl .Best rice cleaning bowl.Ive used sinks,bowl, mesh bowls. Changed water 6 times,till water runs clear.This is the best i have use by far.Weve all suffered from wallpaper paste rice.This produces individual grain basmatiPerfect.

Very good quality material and effective to use. I’d recommend it especially for the double way of draining.

Product overall is good and not flimsy at all, does the job well. My only problem is thinking back on why I paid 9 pounds for something I could have gotten much cheaper from home bargins but hey, if you're not as cheap as me, you wont really have buyer's remorse.

Five stars for its usefulness.Washes and drains allsorts.Too expensive.Would only be a couple of quid on a market or high street shop.

Good product for rinsing allsorts, however if you order the 2 quart size there is no holes in the bottom as advertised in the pictures. The 2.5 quart is the one with holes in the bottom. Had to send the 2 quart back and order the 2.5 quart to find this out.

Does the job well.

Does a great job washing rice, which is exactly what I wanted it for. Also washes blueberries, which was an unexpected bonus. Just don't put it in the dishwasher, as the instructions say it will melt.
