Wellshire Farms, Organic Uncured Turkey Bacon, 8 oz

I hardly ever write grocery reviews but this deserves one. This is the best turkey bacon I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried a bunch. It almost tastes like ham, so if you’re missing pork bacon, I think this may do the trick. It’s seriously good.

These are a great substitute for pork bacon. Healthier and easier to make, too.

No complaints

I fry with olive oil; chef's kiss. However, it will go bad after three days, so now I am cooking double for myself each day and keeping the cooked strips refrigerated. They're good to eat cold or heated up. I have thrown out a couple packages when it started getting gray, not realizing the spoilage factor. Plus, my local store always seems to have stock that is expiring within a month anyway, but I don't think that is the reason.

I don’t eat pork now, but I prefer this turkey bacon anyway. My brother says I have just forgotten how tasty real bacon is. I am happy with the taste of this product. I don’t think my brother has tried it. I have tried other pork bacon substitutes, usually one time only.

This is the first bacon that reminds me of pork bacon; the one item that is difficult to replace when on diet restrictions.

You can add it in any dishes to add extra layer of taste!!

I enjoy this product because it did not have any nitrates and chemical preservatives if only there could be an extremely low sodium version would be fantastic.
