Good bannetons
They work great for my sourdough baguettes. These are a bit long but I knew that when I bought them.

Tiny Bread Bowls
Sweet for tiny round loaves but keep in mind that it’s only 7 inches across the top and not very deep. 9 or 10 inch would suit my bread better. These would be good for single soup bread bowls.

Look small but work great
They look deceivingly small, but work great for making bread fir two people. I put sourdough balls in about 200gm weight and let it puff up and rise up over the top. Chill to ferment, bake the next day or just to toughen up so you can score it. I sprinkle my bowls with rice flour, put in dough, pull sides back and toss in more rice flour around. Cover with the cloth covers. Rise, refrigerate, bake. The covers are thick and strong adored but I used hot sink water. Dish soap. Soaked, rinsed and hung dry on my draining rack. Ready to use. I always run hot water sprayed in bottom Of new bowls for sanitation. Shake and air dry. After each use I tap out the rice flour residue, and of needed use a clean toothbrush (just for baking) and scrub dry. If water is needed use it. The covers can go in baskets or over them it's your choice but always flour with rice flour to avoid sticking and cover lightly to prevent drying out. If you live in dry areas, I'd mist the top od dough or use wet, rung out dish dowels over the bowls while they rise. Good luck baking!

Nice but...
They have a funny smell, will wash the covers and set the baskets outside to air out.

Perfect for baguettes in an oblong cloche
I have an oblong la cloche and the basket I have been using is too wide, too deep, and too short in the length. These are perfect. I made a 500g flour sourdough dough and made 4 slim baguettes. The shallow sides of the basket make it easy to turn the dough out. My cloche is 13” long on the inside bottom and these baskets are the perfect size. The baskets are well made with no splinters or protruding staples. Before using them, I washed the liners with cold water and put them back on the baskets while they were still damp to minimize any shrinkage, and let them air dry. The fabric is coarse and holds my rice and wheat flour mixture well. I had very minimal sticking on the first round. I like these very much.

Great for proofing. My son is becoming quite the baker and his bread is becoming famous! These loaf proofing pans are going to be perfect to help the baguettes rise.

Good value proofing basket, 2 oval prices with 2 elasticated, washable, lining cloths. There are some slight frayed splinters at the bottom of the basket, but you can pick them away, or just leave them, after a generous dusting of flour (i used 50/50 rice flour and strong white) , they won't touch your dough or anything like that. Proofing them in the baskets doesn't get that nice lined pattern, at best you can get a bit of the cloth imprint on areas not as well floured. And if you want to let your dough ferment in just the basket alone, I'd recommend wetting it, dusting it with flour, and letting it dry a day before you start, as flour wasn't sticking well to the sides of basket the first time I tried dusting it. I've now baked around 6 loaves in these baskets and really love them, great starting off point for a low price
