DOYO Wii Guitar, Wireless Wii Guitar Hero Controller for Guitar Hero Wii and Rock Band 2 Wii U Games (Excluding Rock Band 1) with Strap, White

Absolutely confirmed works with Rock Band 2 on the Wii. It also works on its own, using one of the Wii remotes, without the original rock band 2 guitar plugged in. So even if your original guitar is broken, this is a perfect replacement. It’s smaller than the original Stratocaster controller but it feels very solid. The only thing to note is that this only has one set of buttons on the neck, as opposed to the two sets of buttons on the original Stratocaster controller so young fingers may struggle a little bit.

It's decent, pretty light, small strum bar is super rakeable, no lag for me. Load in, press spacebar, assign the buttons, away you go. Mine came with a flaw in that it sometimes overstrummed on upstrums, which I'll fix with abit of ducttape to act as a buffer. If you play guitar hero in 2021 you'll be used to fixing these anyway to be honest. One thing to note is you'll need a long phillips head screwdriver if you need to get inside for maintenance or, like me, modding. This will void your warranty so you should know what you are doing, if you mess it up or it doesn't work in your clone hero setup that's on you, this was made for nintendo wii and is intended for that use. Oh, packaging was great.

Similar to someone else who posted here with a video, the guitar doesn't work and it would cycle through all the options on the screen , without user input. The green button would not be able to select things and instead exit. The button that is used as a mouse to navigate with wouldn't even work either. Couldn't get as far as calibrating the guitar to fix it. A shame as finding a guitar that works and thats new is hard to come by apparently.

Works great, loved guitar hero III: legends of rock since I was a kid and now I’m finally able to play it properly. Only took me 10 years! Great product.

Product works greats with clone hero after buying an adapter. Whammy bar won’t seem to work no matter what I do but you can play without it so I don’t mind. Buttons are a bit loose at first but I got used to them. Good value.

Worked for about 3 times of playing and now no longer works.

Took a couple uses before the wammy bar or star power worked but it kicked in eventually and now all works fine

Ich habe die DOYO Wii Guitar Hero Gitarre für den Dolphin Emulator gekauft, aber ich habe sie auch mit der originalen Wii getestet und die Gitarre funktioniert sehr gut. Sie gefällt mir so gut, dass ich mir eine zweite gekauft habe.

Produit très bien fait pas de souci mais finalement pas d’utilité … Quelques pb de compatibilités avec les jeux guitare héros ( à confirmer par d’autres )

I did buy these (bought 2) guitars for CloneHero (playing latest version, i.e. PTB), they've been working great. We play local multiplayer with no problem whatsoever. Reading some reviews got me worried about the quality, but as a new player I didn't notice anything bad regarding the quality. That being said, I don't have alot to compare with. Got it working wirelessly easily using my Wiimotes, WiitarThing and a Dolphinbar (already owned a dolphinbar, heard it isn't needed, maybe needed for Starpower enabled by Tilting). Whammy works, tilt to use starpower works (altough I struggle activating it, but my more experienced friend whom I play with have no problem). Overall if you're not too picky about your guitar feeling like an OG GH-Guitar, and you already own a wiimote then I would say 50usd is worth it.
