96 Capacity CD Case

Good quality case with lots of storage, perfect for minimalising space with efficient storage

I bought a couple of these as I was fed up with the rows of DVD’s on my shelves. I was really impressed at the compact size. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the hard outer shell, but it really is a well designed case with a huge capacity. I can’t actually believe it holds so many discs! I bought another soft case one that holds 300 discs, but I hate it. It’s massive and I’ve bought more of these ones to move them into. I think it’s better to have more smaller cases than one huge one. They are easy to handle and look through also.

The case is a good hard plastic, as the product description says. It will not bend or flex if pressed on, so your discs are safe. The internals seem well enough constructed: The sleeves are held in place by plastic top&bottom clips, so it might be possible to add a few more sleeves (if you're able to source them). That said, I don't think anyone will want to do that, as the case already holds 96 DVDs, and is designed to hold this many comfortably, with an expanding section to the zipped cover. But if you overfill the case, it will probably put undue pressure on the zipper. Inside, there are light plastic pockets backed by soft non-scratch material to hold your discs (standard DVD or CD discs). Th plastic looks and feels solid enough, I have seen some DVD holders with very flimsy thin plastic, but this actually looks pretty decent. It shouldn't tear easily unless you are very careless putting / pulling the discs in and out. The sleeves are not big enough to hold CD paper covers (I mean the kind of paper covers that come with CD jewel cases, if you plan to store your music CDs in it) but then again the whole point here is reducing storage and getting rid of the plastic jewel cases instead. You can see at a glance what discs are in it when you open & flick through it anyway. So far the construction seems durable enough for what I want - to store my DVDs and CDs comfortably on my shelf. I don't plan to move this case round much eg bring it in the car, on travels etc. So it's probably perfect for my needs. If you plan to carry it round with you a lot, areas that might - eventually - give trouble through natural wear and tear are the stitching holding the expanding sides to the hard part of the case, and the plastic clips holding the sleeves inside. Don't get me wrong - they all seem sturdy and robust enough, but it depends on how much wear and tear you plan to subject them to, like anything. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it, and with the price.

Excellent range of colours. I have a massive DVD collection covering a wide range of genres. Rather than clutter my lounge with the box-sets I insert a disc at a time (the collection really is huge) and put them in colour-coded cases; sci-fi, horror, movie dramas, TV dramas, romantic comedies, cartoons, anime, a bright colour for each. The front and back plates are strong, the zip section not so much but it's a reasonable trade-off for unit cost. I have had more expensive ones in the past that seem to mark very easily and I'm pleaased that these are more resistant to surface marking. All in all, for the money they're well worth the cost.

Very pleased with this item, it has saved so much space. The outer cover seems robust, although the sleeves are a bit flimsy, so handle with care for longevity, but a very good price. Wondering if said sleeves are replaceable going forward?

Arrived quickly. Very light weight but much better than my old case that did my back in lifting it. Like the colour range too.

I needed some road music for my VW bus. This case worked out great. The envelopes are strong, it opens and turns easily, the case is protective. I completely filled it, 96 cds, and it closed and opened easily. Neat Little holder!!

Correspond parfaitement à la description. J'ai pu y mettre tous les DVD qui prenaient trop de place dans leurs boîtes d'origine.

De très bonne qualité, semble solide (on verra a l’usage ). Grande contenance par rapport aux autres produits proposés. De plus, je trouve l’objet joli, esthétique. Je l’ai choisi rouge…tres beau rouge.
