It's big, it's bold, it's beautiful. It's a map! I have this map on my office wall. It's a point of reference for arguments and also serves as cheap art. I also hung a 10" wall clock in the lower left corner. Very nifty if I do say so myself. Calling this map laminated is a stretch. I would call it glossy paper as it's only coasted on one side. True lamination would be encapsulating the entire map. Still, it's an amazing world map. Get the map, get a clock, and get a laser pointer. You too can be college professor!

Love this map! Easy to read, great information, and my students love the flags at the bottom. I tracked this down and bought this as a replacement for the one I’d had in my classroom for years, since no other map I looked at really compared to this one. Size is great, though the material is a little bit thinner than the old version used to be. Definitely recommend for the classroom if you’re looking for a world map.

Must have for toddlers. My 4 yr old knew country flags I didn’t know existed by two yrs old bc grandma put on up so now we have them up all over the house

Purchased this for my son to do a presentation at school and map his money colllection. It's great! Sturdy, laminated just thick enough to protect, clear details of country, capitals, regions, territories, and great colors. Flags at bottom are a nice touch, or can be creased and turned under.

Really great world map and flag recognition chart. We are spending time reading books from around the world to our children and being able to show them where the characters are from has been fantastic! We especially like being able to write on it with erasable markers and plot points all over the world to show our reading adventures. For the money, this is a great resource to have.

Got this for my son as a gift and he is very happy with it. We put it up on the wall with double-sided tape which worked well (3x across the top and bottom and 1x on each side). It arrived in perfect condition, rolled inside a partial-coverage small box, which was inside a larger complete/regular box. Putting this up is definitely a two person job due mostly to the size, and also that it tries to curl back up. As others mentioned and set my expectations, the "laminate" aspect is not the typical two-layer plastic with the image inside, but I guess referring to the finish. It's definitely thicker/sturdier than some posters, but not by much. My guess is that the top layer does have some form of coating that will make cleaning any dust off easier. I did try to move one of the pieces of tape on the back, and it tore off a bit of paper, but that didn't affect the image/front at all.

I purchased the Hemisphere US map for our homeschool and figured we should get the world map as well. I was not disappointed. It is big, has all the flags on the bottom and my husband and I find ourselves using it more than our map-loving children. It is what I call, "lightly lamenated." We used the 3M adhesive strips to put it on the wall and it looks great.

This is such a disappointment. I just received my map today. The shipping box seem ok. The map is good in quality. However, the map’s own packaging box has a cutout without any protection. The map is folded on that area. On top of that, this item is non-returnable. Buy from somewhere else.

A good quality up to date world map and easy to wipe clean. Great for kids and reasonably priced.

We waited a long time, and then the map arrived damaged. Poorly packaged from the manufacturer - not tightly wound enough so no strength, was clearly rattling around in the loose box for a while. So disappointing! Find a better supplier.
