This cap is awesome! I bought this for my husband. After a few months he asked for a second one so he could have one handy in the garage and one in the basement. Seems like he was always bumping his sweet bald head on something, leaving cuts and scars. This cap is light and comfortable, making it easy for him to routinely wear. He loves these caps! Also great that the covering is easily removed for washing.

Like Fred, whop provided a review on Septmeber 12, 2021, I needed a bump cap to protect my head as I am missing a piece of skull while I wait for my implant.I was impressed by the quality and design of the hat and would recommend to others. However, unlike Fred, this hat did not work for me as it was not big enough to cover defect, maybe it has something to do with where missing skull was located. Even if it did fit, I would have ordered chin straps to attach as I would be nervous that it would not stay on should I have had a fall. If I could make one recommendation, please include a set of attachable chin straps or add chin straps to this ball cap; in my opinion, this would be a safety plus for any reason someone would want or need an attractive every day baseball bump cap.

Purchased as protection against falls on icy walks. I wear it under a wool pilots hat that closes under my chin to keep it in place. If purchased as protection against falls, and to be worn alone, it should be a model with a chin strap which this model does not have.

I have not actually used this hat yet, but my initial response is I find it well made, comfortable and pretty much what was described is what I have. For what I will use it for, light yard and home, it will be fine. Seller delivered quickly, no complaints.

My neurosurgeon said this cap was perfect for me because I was not a significant fall risk and is much more comfortable than the heavyweight helmet I was first provided. It’s also a lot safer to drive with.
