 Automatic Compact Travel Umbrella with Reverse and Safe Lock Design, HQdeal Teflon 210T Auto Open Close Folding Strong Windproof Umbrella Black is one of the best umbrella’s I have ever purchased since high school when I really started using umbrella’s. This umbrella is like a magic trick I swear at first I didn’t understand that it had a cool feature that once it’s fully open and say you get in your car you hit the button again and like magic it folds back on itself and you can get in the car without all the rain getting on you. I was simply amazed at this feature as well as my husband. He is so jealous he tries to take it sometimes, it is very funny. We will definitely be ordering more umbrellas from this company and won’t be going back to a regular ever again! Amazing and great buy for all ages, I just need more in colors.

EDITED TO ADD: After posting my review, I wandered back to the description page and noticed that it mentioned that it won't rebound when you're pushing it back into the handle like other umbrellas do. I literally grabbed mine immediately to go test it. IT REALLY DOESNT SPRING BACK!!!! You push it down and can completely let it go BEFORE reaching the handle and 'clicking' it into place, and it WON'T spring back in your face!!! As a clumsy person, I have been hit by umbrella's a LOT. This feature is BY FAR the most awesome part of this umbrella. I was so impressed I got right back onto my review to edit it and let others know.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I've purchased a couple of umbrellas on Amazon over the years, and pretty much thought they were all the same. I chose this one because it was sponsored at the time and was within my price range, but I'm actually impressed and glad that I chose this one.I usually carry umbrellas in my training backpack as we use them to condition service dogs to surprises (someone hides then the handler and dog walk past the store isle they are in. They deploy the umbrella towards the team as they walk past. Helps condition the dog to remain calm and quickly regain focus.) and had bought this one to replace one that just broke. I have to admit, I will NOT be keeping it in my training bag, because I want to actually USE it for me and my kids, Haha!Firstly, the button is easy to push down but not easy enough that you'd open the umbrella on accident.The handle is large enough that you can get a good grip and operate the button with only one hand.The metal seems very sturdy but doesn't seem unique. However, the telescoping is slightly unique. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it is molded slightly differently, and it's pretty much impossible to pinch your fingers in it. (I did that a LOT as a child and still worry I will get pinched with any umbrella I use)My favorite feature of this umbrella is how large it is. I didn't think it would be any larger than the average umbrella, because when it's compacted and closed, it's the same size as every other 'travel umbrella' I own...but I was happily surprised when I deployed it and saw that it's notably larger than any other that I own. As a mum of young kids, that's a REALLY good feature! We always seem to end up getting wet because we are trying to keep a kid dry, and there simply isn't room for both adult and parent considering the height difference...but this umbrella is pretty big, and I'm sure that the larger size will make a big difference when walking with my child.So, I thought it would be the same as the others I'd always ordered, but it's definitely larger, easier to operate and a little safer than others I've owned. In ending, umbrellas aren't something that are unique, and I didn't expect to have anything to say about this one. However, the ease of use and large size are perfect for any busy mom like me, who wants to be able to easily deploy an umbrella one handed, and have one that actually keeps BOTH them and their child dry at the same time. I found myself being compelled to share my opinion so that others can see that this umbrella stands out among others in this price range. Definitely feel like I made a lucky but good purchasing choice!

Pshaw! Rain? I have my ultra-lightweight opens-inside-out brolly with me. One click and FWOOSH! it is open and keeping the wet off me. Another click and FWOOSH! it is folded. The energy to do all this comes from the manual telescopic retraction required to finish the closing and packing away.Inside-out means that the wet is not going to get on everything that touches the folded brolley. It also makes it easy to enter and exit a car while deploying or folding the brolley.Just be careful when you have both hands overloaded lest you do what I did and accidentally fold it up while walking past a bunch of teenaged girls in a rainstorm. Their laughter can be so cruel.

I have only used this umbrella a couple times. It pops up very good and seems bigger and stronger than any other umbrella I have owned. I gave it 4 stars because the second time I used it I could not get it open. After struggling with it I was able to open it. Hope it works better the next time. It does have a warranty so I will give it a chance. It is difficult to push closed for a 74 year old lady.

I heared about this umbrella from my sister. So purchased one.Pro:auto open and close. easy to use with one handsmooth and safe to push back the umbrella to lock. No need much strengh.Strong enough and inverted keeps me dry in rainy days.Cons:No UV protection.Can placed in the purse, not so mini.Above all, it does good job as a rain umbrella. Worth every penny. Good choice.

This umbrella is very nice! It is amazing quality Teflon and I love how the rain just bounces off of it. It is quite large and the inverted design helps you stay dry when you are putting it away. I also like how there is one button and it does both functions to open and close the umbrella so that it is less work on the user. Also has a handy holder for it as well. Very easy and user friendly. I would definitely recommend that someone purchase this beautiful umbrella.

It's a little heavy and snapping the umbrella back into position can be a little hard when you first get it, but the umbrella itself is very sturdy. I had mine for a couple of months until the wind made one of the panels get caught on the metal frame and it tore a little hole, but I remembered that it has a lifetime warranty and contacted the seller and they were very quick to respond and send me a replacement!! I appreciate the fact that they have excellent customer service and own up to lifetime warranties. I definitely recommend this umbrella!

As a public transit commuter who carries an umbrella a lot, "just in case", then opens & closes them a lot when used, I "go through" a lot of them. Most have a canopy that is too small to keep me AND my backpack dry, turn inside out easily in windy conditions, the frame eventually bends, & the velcro closure eventually tears.I LOVE this umbrella, as the canopy is large, it easily opens & closes, the frame is thick & sturdy, & it withstands wind better than its predecessors. I suspect that it will outlast previous ones too, but time will tell. Meanwhile, I highly recommend it.
