EVEDARE Advanced Eyelash Growth Serum with Enhancing Peptides and Botanical Vitamins for Longer, Thicker, Fuller Lashes, Natural Extracts Improve Strength, Reduce Brittleness (3ML)

Evedare reached out to me and asked if I would like to try their eyelash serum, and I did! I had been wanting to try a serum for awhile, but I have light colored eyes and would like to stay away from prostaglandins. As a pharmacist, I know they work, but I did not want to go that route. (This review will be from a beauty enthusiast's perspective on her own experience, and while my education may influence my own opinions, this review isn't intended to provide medical or medication advice, etc.) With that said, I am used to trusting evidence based claims, I am familiar with what kind of wording companies are allowed to use to promote their products without making drug claims that aren't prove safe and effective. (Otherwise they'd be an otc or a Rx drug with side effects listed, etc. There's a lot to it). So, like other lash serums, this serum can't directly claim it will cause an increase in eyelash length or thickness, but I was still interested to try it.I have naturally long eyelashes, but they're blonde and hard to see unless they have mascara on them. I used to be very happy with them, but I don't know if they aren't as long and full as they once were or if everyone getting lash extensions and wearing false lashes has changed my expectations.I decided to use the Evedare serum only on my right eye because I have trouble telling the difference in most people's before and after pictures, and I hoped I would be able to notice if there was a difference or not between one eye or another since the lashes on each started out the same. I used it once in the morning, and once in the evening every single day on my top lash line to a dry eye after washing my face and before applying anything else.I love the packaging. The box is nice. I love the supportive stickers. The tube is beautiful and sleek, and the applicator applies the serum nicely. The actual serum itself is non-irritating on my lid, however it did burn my eye for a few seconds on most occasions even though I was very careful to only apply to the lash line.After several weeks, I did notice that a few lashes on my right eye appeared to be longer than the lashes on the left (although it seems the longest has since fallen out recently as eyelashes do). I have attached a picture of my lashes without mascara for comparison.In summary, it appears to me that the lashes that I used the serum on did seem a bit longer, however, I could not tell any significant difference in the thickness, fullness, strength, brittleness, health, or appearance of my lashes while using the serum for 4 to 6 weeks and beyond. I feel like it could be possible that this serum would be better suited for someone who has shorter lashes already or who has experienced severe lash damage and needs to condition them in some way. I enjoyed using the Evedare serum, but I feel like $50 would be a lot to spend for results I received, especially since you just continue to use the product to maintain results.

This product retails for $55.00 and can be found on Amazon and the Evedare website. This eyelash serum is free of parabens and is also cruelty-free! It is made with natural plant extracts and claims to grow your lashes in as little as 4 weeks! When first starting out, they reccomend apply twice per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. They also recommend waiting for the product to completely dry before going in with any makeup or other skincare! (Since I am only maintaining length, I used once per day!)..I couldn't test out how well this lengthened my lashes, because I have been using lash serums for the last 3 years. My lashes are about as long as they can get, but I still use a serum nightly to maintain my length and fullness. What I can tell you about this serum, is that it is incredibly watery. More so than any of the other serums I have tried, so you must be careful when applying to your lash line. Less is definitely more. The first few times I tried it, I was not careful with how much I was applying and I definitely had a lot of irritation from the product getting into my eyes. So I did lay off of it for about a week, until I felt that my eyes could handle it again. Once I was using the proper amount, I didn't notice that same irritation and I actually quite enjoyed the product. My lashes maintained their length, fullness, and strength very well...I don't think this will replace my two other holy grail serums, but I did like it. If you have been wanting to dabble into lash growth serums, I don't think you would be disappointed by this one...Again, thank you to @evedareofficial for gifting me this product!

(for full disclosure, I received this product complimentary for review, though all thoughts are my own)I used this serum up completely, which took quite a few months. I can say confidently that my lashes have grown quite a bit longer in that time. Both my top and bottom lashes are noticeably fuller and lengthier, and my brows are a bit fuller (I used it on my brows as well). I applied it nearly every night.I am not a huge fan of the applicator and the formula, however. I find that with a tiny brush applicator, the thin formula tends to move around and can get into eyes easily, which does sting. It is hard to apply to the base of lashes with a brush, as of course the brush only swipes along the top of the lash line. Though the stinging isn't severe and passes quickly, it is still uncomfortable. I like the sleek black tube however and the packaging it came in was quite cute!Overall, I am happy with the results, as my lashes are quite long and full (the best they've ever been). I wish the price was more affordable, but in its defense, it did last quite a while (much longer than 6 weeks to see results)
