I bought one as a Christmas gift to a close friend. The GOgroove BlueSYNC 2.1 would connect with the Bluetooth volume very low, almost inaudible using a Samsung S3 and an Apple iPad. I connected in the devices with the included wire and the volume was good. Unplugging the wire the Bluetooth was fine and then faded out. Wiggling and playing with the audio jack or firmly thumping the top of the cabinet brought the volume back.I returned it at the cost of $15 postage and bought a second one.The second GOgroove BlueSYNC 2.1 is dead on arrival. The thing doesn't even light up. There's no user accessible fuse or circuit breaker. The power light doesn't glow nor will the volume buttons. Thumping the top didn't help this time so back it goes for a second time at the cost of another $15.I'll open a case with Amazon to try to get the vendor to make good on the shipping costs.I really wanted for this to work. The system looks great and the speakers seem very promising but inside is cheap Chinese circuitry with very poor QC. I'm not going to dare order a 3rd one.

I really like this speaker. Full, robust sound with a strong but not overwhelming base. Very easy to set up, connected to my iPad Mini and iPhone 4 quick a seamlessly. Understand that the speaker is designed to have you control the volume, equalizer and music selection through your device.There is one thing that annoys me about this item. On the front, there are three lights. A green power and two blue volume control lights. Understand that these lights are VERY bright and piercing. I actually had to move the speaker near a window to dull the brightness- you cannot dim them. If this thing was in a bedroom it would be as if you switched a lamp on.Besides this, I would recommend it.

As a greying Boomer and Woodstock attendee, I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed listening to music until I plugged in this gem, linked to Pandora and turned up the volume. I spent at least three hours grovin' down memory lane thanks to some of the sharpest and clearest sounds that I'd listen to in ages. I am impressed by this device which the box says was made in China but designed in California. It is a beautifully sculpted and solid technical marvel worth (shhhh) three times its price. Thank you, Gogroove, for reminding me just how much fun listening to music can be!

I'm really enjoying this speaker! This is my first portable bluetooth speaker and I don't have a lot of experience with sound systems or speakers, but I think I made an excellent choice for my needs. It's plenty loud enough, sounds great, and the bluetooth is working perfect. It's so nice to push a button and listen to any of my Amazon cloud stored music or music on my device. So easy! And it's great for listening to my audiobooks. Thank you GOgroove and Amazon!

I don't know why not having wires is so great but it is so great. Pairs fast and easy, sounds amazing, and has decent bass. I used this for a group of 20 students to show a movie and it was better than the sound system the school had installed. I used to have to plug my iPad right next to the speaker and now I can play songs and sound effects from all over the room. My one wish is that it would default to the same volume. It goes back to low and so every time I turn it on I have to immediately turn the volume up. I love it though.

I love this thing. Sound great in all conditions, very loud indoors and can easily handle outdoors. Great for a backyard get together. Sound quality is great, very easy to connect to or even plug in to.Only thing that brothers me is the volume button lights are so bright, and that it would turn off with not connect too. You have to switch main power off.

The sound quality is pretty good, but you have to manually turn off the unit when not in use because the box is hot anytime this unit is turned on. This wastes electricity and seems like a good way to start a fire.The power switch is inconveniently located on the back and you hear a loud pop everytime you turn the unit on. Additionally, you have to adjust the volume up each time you turn system on because it does not remember the last volume level.And the input plug to the back does not work at all. If you plug anything into that you get only static (no music) on the speaker.But wait, there's more problems, the volume buttons have bent inward and are now very difficult to reach to adjust volume.I contacted customer support who really didn't care about any of these problems. They said I could return it, but they told me that is just how it is.Save yourself some problems and avoid GoGroove products - Dont' Buy GoGroove. Especially, now that there are many bluetooth tv speaker systems that work better, have better support, and can be used for both the tv and music.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The sound is really good, comparable to the Sonos 3 with out the insane price. It took me longer to get the speaker out of the box than to get it synced up with my iPhone. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for great sound and ease of use with at an affordable price.
