Did the job
This is a one time can. You cant use it after its been used because the stuff in the pipe gets clogged. But otherwise the item works perfectly. I used it to stop the airflow between the window frame and the ac.

Definitely workS for drafts
I love great stuff. It seals holes to reduce drafts. Wear gloves when applying, difficult to get off of hands. Also be careful with clothes.

Used to install an exterior door in existing construction
Used this to install a 3-section door in existing construction (remodel). Had about a 1/2" gap and used one entire can to go around the door. It expands to about 3x it's size and once dry (it takes about half an hour at most) I cut the remaining overhang of foam off with a box cutter. Note: Once you open the can and start using it, you can't save any for another project since it will harden in the can. So I deducted a star because it can be difficult to estimate exactly how much you'll need and it would be easy to over estimate and waste your money.

Not as advertised
I purchased but received cans with straws. Not for pro gun! Do your research! Amazon took care of the issue for me. As for the cans they seem to have very low pressure. And you have to press down on the nozzle extremely hard. To dispense. I have used this product many times. This is unusual. But seems to be every can. I’m reviewing the cans with straw application.

"Pro" just means bigger can (20 oz. instead of 12)
First off -- this is NOT the can used with the dispenser "gun" for Great Stuff like Tom Silva uses on This Old House! It is just like a regular can you'd buy in Home Depot, except bigger. The "normal" sized can of Great Stuff is 12 oz, I think, and this is 20 oz -- so almost twice the amount. This contains a LOT of Great Stuff, so get it if you have a daily big project to insulate all at once (you can't use half of it and save the rest for later, it'll seal itself up as efficiently as it seals up gaps). It's great stuff (haha), really helps keep the drafts and water to a certain extent out of my 1950 fixer-upper house. This is the Window & Door kind, and is so-called "low" expansion -- the "Gaps & Cracks" kind will squeeze too much on the frames of windows and doors and potentially mess up their movement. I don't think I would describe it as low expansion, though -- it does expand less than the Gaps & Cracks, but it will definitely still ooze like crazy out of a gap for almost an hour sometimes, if too much is out into too narrow an area. I think it gets close to twice as big as it starts, or at least 50% bigger. I always think I haven't put enough in, and I ALWAYS regret putting more in! Make sure to put down a drop cloth and tape off surrounding areas, since the yellow residue will permanently stain and bond to just about any material. Also wear rubber gloves, like dishwashing gloves -- it's impossible to get off your skin too. (Put acetone will help get a small amount of this off some surfaces, as will removers made specifically for it -- but they're chemicals that might just destroy the surface you're trying to clean, too, so an ounce of precaution is definitely worth a pound of cure!) Oh, and of course while you can't use Gaps & Cracks around windows and doors, you CAN use Window & Door in places other than around windows and doors! It doesn't expand as much as Gaps & Cracks, but if you have a can of this open and have to use the rest up, it works great anywhere else around the house too.

Product did not come with a nozzle/applicator
Ordered this product specifically because it advertised coming with its own plastic nozzle. This did not happen. What was supposed to save me a trip to the hardware store has now had me wait 4 days and ultimately still need to go to the hardware store.
