This is a superb little record player. This far exceeded my expectations for such a compact device. As an added bonus, it can also connect to your phone as a Bluetooth speaker, which seems to work when the record player isn't spinning. This is powered via 5 volts, with an adapter included. There would be nothing stopping you getting a suitable USB lead to power via a powerbank if you want to make it truly portable. This is so simple to use. Turn it on and it becomes detectable by Bluetooth as a speaker. It also switches the records player on. Unclip the safety lock on the arm, place your record on the turntable (for 33 inch records you need to ensure you get it in the groove near the arm first). Finally, lift the arm and needle via the lever. This turns the turntable on and raises the arm. Move the arm over the start section on the record and lover into place with the lever when ready to play. Having not played a record for a long time, this brought back so many memories of playing LPs all the time as a child. This is a nice light weight unit and can either be used via the stereo speakers on the front or plugged into a stereo via the connectors on the back. 2 options of cable are included. Overall, I'm really pleased with this. I've actually ordered it for my step-dad for his birthday. It'll take pride of place out in his day room, but I wanted to check that it worked properly before ordering. It seemed too good value for the price for it to work so well. I know my step-dad will be as pleased with this as much as I am in buying it for him.

Excellent first record player for anyone! As a musician, I have had record players before and this is the cheapest compact record player I've had. It really does the job. Basic functions that allow playing any record size you require and variable speed etc. The bluetooth function is handy and easy to setup as well. Bonus bluetooth speaker for your phone etc (connects surprisingly fast too and by default when you turn the player on). Speaker is decent enough that it doesn't sound tinny but has enough volume and headroom for a medium sized room - it does have RCA out and headphone out with included aux cable so you can hook up to an external speaker too. Your 12" record comes out the front and side in these cutouts which I think is pretty clever - keeps the player smaller but allows playing your 12" LPs.

What an amazing player sounds great too

I am always interested in vinyl record and finally decided to get one. As a beginner, I don't want to go for the expensive ones and this is within my budget so I gave it a try. When it arrived, I was so excited and set up everything even I was exhausted from work. However, the Beatles' vinyl record that I ordered didn't arrive in time so I couldn't try it immediately. Then I decided to test its bluetooth and speaker function. To my surprise, the quality is really good, especially testing with songs by Elvis Presley. I also tried classical music but it is not as good as songs with lyrics. Today I finally played it with a vinyl record and it was fascinating listening and also looking at it while it played. Set up is easy with instructions on the manual. A point to note is that you have to move the lever above the speed control in order for the tone arm to drop gently. Otherwise, it will scratch your record. Overall, its quality is decent enough for beginners when you just want to test the water. Wonderful product with affordable price.

I was given a lot of vinyl by my dad and didn’t want to spend a small fortune in a record player until I knew if the records kept in the loft were still playable! Easy to set up. Sound quality was good but speaker not that good at louder volumes. I’ve plugged it into my hifi now and it’s fab. The beegees never sounded so good!

Love this, it’s got a great vintage vibe and is compact. Has pretty decent sound for vinyls (used 7” and 12” on it) and I love that it has the Bluetooth speaker addition. I’ve had this a few months now and going well.

It doesn't actually fit the larger record size although thats precisely what the picture shows. It looks great but doesn't do what it says. Only the smaller sizes are able to be played and the playback quality isn't great either. Whilst I didnt except it to have the most amazing sound quality I had hoped to at least play my records but I can't cause they do not fit. Unless you want to only play the smaller 7' records, dont buy this!

As an entry level record player it is OK. This was bought for my daughter to start playing some records she bought. The speakers are similar quality to a small echo device. They sound OK but certainly aren't a match for a proper set of speakers. They go loud enough and are clear but they just lack the bass. It arrived very well packaged and everything seems to work. Only minor flaw is that the mechanism to lower the arm on to the record is a little stiff. We found that the needle would lower on to the record but the lever wouldn't drop all the way down on its own. This meant the needle couldn't lower further when needed to follow the record if it was warped slightly and kept skipping. This is easily fixed by just tapping the lever with your finger once lowered and then it plays fine. If you are going to just listen to the occasional record and aren't too fussed about the sound quality, this is fine. If you care about the audio, I would go for something more expensive.

Guter solider Plattenspieler für das Geld. Man sollte allerdings nicht zu viel von der Klangqualität erwarten. Farbe und die Verarbeitung sind super. Versand war ebenso schnell.

Leicht zu bedienen, sieht hübsch aus und verbraucht kaum Platz. Die Bluetooth Verbindung ist auch ein gutes Feature, mit der man Musik vom Handy aus über den Spieler laufen lassen kann. Der Sound ohne Boxen ist okay für den Preis. Mit Boxen habe ich ihn noch nicht getestet.

Soeben geliefert und ausprobiert. Sehr hübsch und passt gut zu meiner kleinen, weissen Minianlage. Einfach zu bedienen und mir reicht der Klang völlig aus. Ich möchte einfach nur einige alte Platten abspielen. Auch das nostalgische Gefühl ist nicht zu verachten. Komm mir zurück versetzt vor in die 70er :-)
