Loving it
I originally ordered a large Torc T14 model. It was not a modular and it seemed very tight. I returned it and got the T27 and it's great. I got a large and the fit is perfect. Snug but not tight. I like not having to worry about sunglasses because of the sun visor. The Bluetooth works great too. I tried listening to an audio book but I could barely hear it at low speeds. However, I'm able to listen to my music and hear it even above 70 mph. Haven't tested Pandora yet. But obviously sound quality is the factor that will determine if you hear it at higher speeds or not.

Great helmet for the money
As a helmet only, I rate this 4.5 stars. I wish it had a quick release strap instead of the double d loop style strap, as the current strap can be a little tricky with gloves on. The modular face mask is great, Air flow with the vents open is great, and I really like the built in sun visor, I just wish this was darker. For the Bluetooth, I rate this 4 stars. I haven't tried making a call with it yet, but for audio it is pretty good for in-town riding. At interstate speeds, wind noise drowns it out quite a bit-my bike does not have a windshield. Controls are pretty straight forward, but could be better. One thing I would like to have had is a programmable button that could be tied to a virtual assistant (Alexa, Google, etc), however using the wake words work when the apps are open.

My 4th Torc helmet, Much lighter and still a great modular value
I have been using Torc helmets with and without Blinc systems for about 10 years. I keep trying to find something different, but I keep coming back. This helmet is a lot lighter and fits better than one I purchased about 3 years ago. The blinc bluetooth works fine for cell or helmet to helmet calls. I did have some trouble with charging the battery, but used the reset button a couple of times and now it charges just fine. I will continue to monitor. It is modular so I can flip up to grab a drink or talk to people. I use the tinted visor more than the wind screen, but I will use it more when it gets colder. Torc seems to have improved wind noise in this model, the prior had a lot of noise coming through the modular seams. I have a large fairing and windshield but I do notice the wind noise is decreased. It does not muffle much of the engine or traffic noise.Good helmet, I wish some of their more colorful models were the same price, but basic is fine.

Great buy, but has a MAJOR FLAW
After about a month of riding and wearingPros -Bluetooth is pretty clear for the price, not perfect but it gets the job doneI can hear music at 70+plus, not great, but it does work pretty well.Works great in cold weather since it has the chin guard on the bottom, probably to keep wind out for micThe sunshade is amazing, though not Yvan’s protectant it seems like, my eyes still hurt if in sunlight, seems like tiny vs polarizationCons (and these are rather large)First and foremost THE LENSE IS NOT SHATTERPROOF, I think this is a must for any motorcycle helmet, unless a replacement is available, I won’t be buying this for my wife. The anti fog tint is starting to peel after only a month (see pictures)The center of my forehead has a huge painful red spot after a few hours, design says long oval, but my head is not circular and this puts pressure points on my forehead as if it wear circular.Vents are pretty useless as far as I can tell, will update when 110 weather comes backWould give it a 5 star for the price and features, but the fact the visor isn’t shatterproof is a huge failure.Helmet bends pretty easy, makes me worry about impact resistanceThe modular part is somewhat difficult to close and locking both pins with one hand moves the helmet around too much, though the modular feature is really nice to useIf you’ve got a windshield like I do, and aren’t concerned with perfect quality sound, this helmet is perfect for you. Hopefully I can find a shatterproof one for my wife.

For the price, it's tough to beat!
I bought this helmet for the Bluetooth and because I already had another Torc 27 with BT and wanted to pair them together. The BT works well and I can hear most of my audio and GPS even at higher speeds assuming I am riding the motorcycle with a windscreen. If not, it gets iffy at about 60mph. With the windscreen, I hear it all up to 100mph, at about the same volume as lowering your windows in a car with your radio at a normal volume. You'll hear it but the details start getting a bit obscured. The controls for the audio operation take a quick second to figure out. For example, there are no Siri, Google or Alexa capabilities. To raise and lower the volume is easy - toggle forward or backwards with a tone to notify you that there is nowhere left to go. The skip tracks is the same as lowering and raising volume (back or forward turn of a dial), except one needs to hold the dial for a clear second or two in order to complete the operation. To skip 5 tracks will take about a clean 10 seconds, for example. I don't make calls while driving - EVER. Answering calls is easy, tap the side button. They can't really hear you if you're driving fast, especially without a windscreen.I also purchased a couple of visor replacements for this helmet. I bought the chrome and dark black visors and mainly ride with the chrome. I have received many compliments around town simply walking around stores and having people ask about my "Iron Man" helmet using the chrome visor, stating that they had seen me riding and thought I had the coolest looking helmet they'd ever seen. Once they find out it has BT and speakers, it's on. I may as well be a rep for Torc at that point. The helmet runs 2 sizes too small in my opinion. I first ordered this according to the sizing chart and had to return it. Takes 2 days to get to me but 9 days to get back and be refunded. That was a bit aggravating. That said, I have found and reviews confirm that their chart is off by a mile despite my measurements being spot on. The foam at my "correct" size was simply too hard against my cranium. I was a large according to their chart and really needed a XXL. They don't offer an XXL in this model that I am aware of, so I ordered the XL and it's passable but still a bit tight, especially on longer drives where I find the pressure against my forehead to be a bit too much. I suspect over time the foam will conform to my head a bit. The jury is still out on that...The helmet offers really decent airflow. There are two main vents and both offer great cooling, however, the more air in means the less you hear music. I have found that installing a volume booster on my device works to overcome this. The visor remains up while driving up to certain speeds and then will close on you due to air pressing it downward. That said, if you lift the face mask entirely, it stays up and is nice to have on really hot days in FL. or when you want to go into a store for a moment and not have to deal with taking off the helmet. I prefer not to walk into any store these days with a closed helmet where nobody sees my face. That said, it is also pretty decent at keeping air out if you need that feature for colder days. There is a nose shield and a chin shield that both serve to control air from entering the helmet on cold days. That is nice. Both are made of rubber and they simply plug in or get pulled out when not in use. Easy. There are a lot of helmets out there but I have found Torc to be a brand I like and the quality of the helmet is very good. I just wished they offered more visor options. This model was discontinued and the Torc 28B is what is sold now and offered in their newest catalog. The 28B is offered in XXL.
