Our child's school requires kids to use a drawstring bookbag. Quality and stylish options in that department are limited, but this bag meets both of those requirements.The bag has been in use for over one month now and has held up well so far. The ombre color is great and the straps are sturdy for school books. We opted for a light weight (soft cover) three ring binder, which helps reduce strain on the bag and straps. The additional pocket on the front is handy for small items. Overall our child likes this bag, which is a bonus because middle schoolers are finicky.Will update this rating in a few months.

I wish the straps weren't so damn annoying on this thing. The bag itself is super cute, water resistant and pretty good quality. I've been using it for a little over a month now as a gym bag but I initially bought it as a "backpack" for my upcoming vacation. I spilled coffee all over myself and the bag one night (dear god no its primarily a white bag) and it wiped right off with a damp paper towel. Like zero evidence that there was ever anything spilled on it. It almost has a velvet like texture, except it doesnt give off any weird fuzz like velvet does. The straps.. they're like.. thick silk ribbon? Kinda. Anyway, they're think enough to be comfortable when you're lugging around a bunch of stuff, but its difficult to adjust the length of the straps and then once you do, they're so damn silky/slippery that they just fall out and you've got a bag hanging down back, or giant-stretched out looking straps hanging along the side of you. I'll probably try to think of a work-around like bobby-pinning the straps in place so they cant fall out as easy. I like it too much to return but it is super annoying.

Many negative reviews expect this bag to be WATERPROOF. First, it clearly states it is water RESISTANT, which it is. I would never put electronics in a water resistant bag without securing them in a waterPROOF pack inside this bag. The only bags that are truly WATERPROOF are dry bags. You can find them on amazon and compare them.I live in a very damp, windy northern pacific coast town. Cinch bags are light and great for walks on the beach, setting it down in damp sand, carrying sea treasures you find along the way.I tested this bag against my usual double layered adidas cinch bag at the beach. #1 it’s prettier and washes well. #2 letting sit on the damp sand, even in a slight sprinkling of rain, it performed better than my other cinch bag. I think the outer layer is a bit more water resistant, and I think it’s because of the difference of the outermost layer.Bottom line, I am very happy with this bag. It’s pretty for general use, and holds up better than my other basic sports cinch bag in damp situations. Just DON’T expect any bag to be waterproof unless it’s a certified dry bag. If you are worried about the safety of your electronics to be protected completely, make sure you have at least a waterproof pouch inside this cinch bag.

This is a great, quality bag. I've decided using a purse on one shoulder is not for me anymore, with all of the shoulder and neck strain, so I thought a backpack style would be better for that reason. This print is fresh and it's all been very durable, thus far. Also it's the perfect, larger size for all my things. I can even fit my umbrella in! I'm only giving 4 instead of 5 because of the strap buckles. While they are sturdy, they don't stay in place, so I'm constantly having to readjust the straps.

Super cute bag we bought for my daughter’s extra curricular activities. Cinch closure (no zipperor snap). Lightweight and durable. Pictured with a 1” binder reference - it does fit in the bag.

Very durable material. I was worried that it would be thin but it’s heavy duty material however very lightweight bag. Larger than most. I take it to work everyday and to the zoo with my kiddos in replacement of their diaper bag. Will purchase again if need be.

I purchased this as a Gi bag for my daughter's Jiu-Jitsu Gi. It's perfect for that! It's made very sturdy and a good quality. It's nice because it has 5 pockets and it gives her the ability when she's at tournament and out and about to store private things such as personal items Keys phone ID Etc. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone else and I will purchase more in the future.

Nice soft (but relatively waterproof) material, plenty of room for necessities and lots of great pockets. The front zip pocket has some depth to it. I've put an entire box of travel paints in it without any problem. This would make a nice travel bag except, but please note that there is no pocket for a water bottle. Only complaint is that the straps are a bit difficult to adjust - they need a toothed stop clasp, not the smooth metal ones that are included.

Great product! The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the straps were very slippy when the bag was empty. I took it to get a few groceries, and once the bag was full, there was no more slipping. I’m 5’4 and curvy. I think a smaller person would have more trouble with the straps, especially if you have narrow shoulders. The bag itself is great quality, no bad smells, and provides easy access. I would definitely purchase again.

Use ot to carry my art supplies to school. Holds quite a bit with room to spare. Love it!
