BOSCH RA1141 Portable Benchtop Router Table

Pleasantly surprised how well it worked for its small size.

I just got the BOSCH Router 1617EVS 2.25 HP and this table is perfect for it. I can now do all the cits I want with great accuracy. The only thing is the all plastic miter gauge. If you tighten it at the angle you want it locks in place. I tossed it as usless. I ordered a real nice JCFants Table Saw Miter Gauge, Works w/Table Saws, Router Table, Band Saw (Red). I wanted accuracy anyway. You can attach the router to the detachable plate for easy in/out or directly to the table which is what I am doing. DIY a table to extend the work area and you have the perfect shop tool then slide it out for portable.

Seems well built, legs are a little more flimsy in their locked positions than I'd like them to be but doesn't move too much when clamped. Leg storage compartments are pointless as others have pointed out. The main reason I wrote this is that the first piece of wood I cut got caught on the rubber edge banding on the table so double check that. If your finger nail can catch it, plane/trim it down real quick before running wood across the table. Only routed 10 or so pieces so far but seems to work well.

Despite what some others say, it's stable enough even if not mounted. I had no issues with it free standing on a bench while I run 8ft 1x4 pieces of oak thru it. If you make a bottom mount and carry it around unfolded, or permanent mount to work bench, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Table is overall solid enough. Rail is fine too. Table top is melamine, honestly someone could just about make this router table themselves, but who has time for that. A few minor complains (and a VERY annoying one): 1. The safety cover is super obnoxious, gets in way- removed. 2. The router compatibility is not 100% accurate. Example, I have a Milwaukee 5616, which is specifically listed as compatible. There are mounting holes, but the above-the-table adjustable height "feature" will never work. The hole in the mounting plate is neither big enough or in the correct place. Fortunately with that router, reaching the height adjustment under the table is frankly easier than using the above table thing anyway. But still misleading/annoying and was going to return it when I realized, until it became obvious I'd rather not use the above table feature anyway. If I'm really annoyed, I'll just make a new hole in the plate and table top. 3. The plugin would be better located in the back or side with the switch staying where it's at. Makes it too cramped to swap a bit out without removing router. Again, ok for me. For $150, I'm not expecting perfection. 4. One thing I find utterly unacceptable is a missing part. See if you can find a #10-24 1" carriage bolt in the unopened bag I have pictured? Nothing makes me more mad or shows corporate apathy more than a missing $0.75 part. The bag had no holes in it, the bolt simply wasn't there. Make the choice - hours spent trying to get Bosch to send you something and waiting weeks, returning the entire thing to Amazon, or a 30 minute trip to the hardware store, I chose the latter.

C'est article n'est pas compatible avec les normes françaises (voltage, prise de branchement). De plus il est extrêmement difficile de fixer une defonceuse européenne. Amazon France devrait le retirer de son catalogue.
