Frogs (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 1)

Nice little Nat Geo book with great illustrations covering the whole page. Noticeable jump from pre-reader level to this level 1 book in words - there are a lot more per page in comparison! This is too advanced for a child who isn't reading but a good investment for when they can read. Great price @ $3.95! If you know a kid who loves frogs and is learning to read, this would be a great, very affordable gift along side other things.

National Geographic Kids books are great. The illustrations and photographs are amazing and the information they provide is set up in a way that keeps your children engaged and interested. They have small paragraphs and pop out boxes of facts over beautiful photographs and illustrations, instead of just a boring block of text. My girls love them and we have amassed quite a collection. This particular book is about various Frogs that you can find all over the world. They talk about many things including the different colors of the frogs, the different sounds they make, the food they eat, and they talk about frog babies. My 6 year old loves learning the facts and reading the books while my 3 year old loves the pictures (she is a big fan of frogs and all the different colors are very interesting to her). We have purchased many of the National Geographic Kids books for our collection and they are a big hit in our house. There are so many different books with various subjects that will appeal to any kid. These are highly recommended. If you haven't already, do your kids a favor and start their collection today.

A gift sent directly to our 5 and a half year old grandson. He is very into frogs. My husband choose a tee shirt out of 5 I had pre-selelected. I thought he just had to have a book, because he just loves Frogs!

Great book for kids!

I love the National Geographic series for kids. The photos are amazing and the facts interesting. They are quick reads but often chosen time and again in our home.

The book had great photos and real scientific information but in a form good for young readers. Very well done.

My kid loves it and happy to go back to school and tell the teacher all about this book, and how much he learnt! Highly suggested for elementary age kids.

My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection!

My grandson absolutely loved this book avd it gave him all the information he was keen to find out. (Age 7) Just the right level of info too and full of beautiful photos - a real win 👍

Although there are only a few pages, but the good bright pictures and less text make it quite interesting for my pre schooler.

I purchase these for my grandchildren. They really enjoy these books, as they are geared to children who are learning to read. The rating system is fantastic, and really does help you decide which level your child is reading at, and their ability to understand what they are reading. Fantastic books.
