Q: How much does it cost to have the lab test it?

To have a lab test for your blood type, it is usually around $100. I myself have had no luck asking doctors to test for my blood type. They usually only test if it’s necessary.

Q: I did 2 just to be sure. The first one showed A negative. The second A positive. Is one more sure than the other?

I think for the rhd it has a window, between 30 seconds and 2 minutes, anything after that is positive, so it might be that you're A-

Yes I knew 3 of my family’s blood type but bought 5 to find out my other 2 kids and it was 100% accurate. The 3 I knew and that came up correct was A+, O+ and A-. So spot on.
