I took them outside for a very short time and the glue used on the hats melted and sticky was everywhere.

I have fallen in love with Tomte decor this season, and am glad to say that this was one of the most excellent purchases I made. The Tomte are well made and very cute. As a note, you may need to fluff their beards and with their hats a little to make the shape you want, but it is easy to do, and the faux fur stays put nicely! (I styled pointed mustaches on mine.) I especially like these as a base -- they are decent sized, attractive, and it would be very easy to add your own personal touch to them (embroider something, add buttons, glue gun some faux holly, etc.)

The weight to keep the knomes standing was all goofed up because of shipping, so it takes a while to move the weight back to the bottom. They tend to fall over. However, super cute, and perfect size
