Fairtex BGV16 Leather Compact Muay Thai Boxing Gloves

I love these gloves. They’re a little small on my hands being 12oz but not too small. The quality, stitching, and wrist support is unmatched and has held up through numerous training sessions. Plus, they look amazing. I also bought a pair of the 16oz gloves which I love as well. The value is 100% there. I would buy again.

Love these gloves. The inner polyester lining on my pair are starting to tear after a year, but maybe that was from me or I got a bad batch. Still love these and won't replace them until the tear is more apparent.

High quality leather that lets you really get a good grip and feel during bag/pad work. I don't have the longest arms either so the slightly shorter cuff makes these gloves as comfortable as can be for me. Even if you're someone who doesn't need a shorter cuff, I'm convinced it's also not big enough of a difference to decrease any effectiveness. Great glove

I’ve had these boxing gloves for over a year now and they are holding up and remains solid. I do boxing twice a week (mainly bag workouts).

Love them they are a perfect fit. They conform to my hands, took a little longer than expected to get to me but well worth the wait.

I have other Fairtex products and like them so I decided to try their gloves. They did not disappoint in quality and overall feel. I have the 12oz gloves and they are great for hitting pads. Nice and tight around the wrists and snug to your fists. My only gripe is when they are brand new they feel hard but after a few sessions they feel broken in. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Nachdem neulich wieder mal ein Paar Kunstlederhandschuhe angefangen hat zu krümeln, habe ich mich nun dazu entschlossen, ein bisschen mehr Geld in echtes Leder zu investieren. Das Geld hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt: Fairtex sind ja sowieso eine feste Größe auf dem Markt und enttäuschen auch mit diesem Handschuhmodell nicht. Die Nähte sind sauber, das Leder geschmeidig aber fest und die Farbe kommt genau so rüber wie auf den Fotos. Zur Praxis: Fairtex Handschuhe sind generell etwas kleiner als die anderer Marken, was an kleineren Kämpfern wie mir (1,70 m) nicht nur besser aussieht, man hat bei der Doppeldeckung dann auch nicht eine fette Schaumstoffmauer vor sich, die einem die Sicht versperrt. Durch den schmalen Schnitt sitzen sie natürlich auch enger, gerade im Daumenbereich. Kämpfer mit Handschuhgröße 8 und größer könnten gerade am Anfang auf Komfortprobleme stoßen. Auch die Polsterung ist etwas härter, also sollte man beim Sparring nicht ganz so fest zuhauen ;) Die BGV16 sind übrigens keine "traditionellen" Thai-Boxhandschuhe, was man auch am Griffstäbchen in der Fingerspitzenpartie erkennt. Dieses ist recht weich, also sind Fairtex einen Kompromiss zwischen Boxkomfort und Flexibilität für den Clinch eingegangen. Letzteres funktioniert mit den BGV16 übrigens prima, man kann trotz der festen Bauweise die Handflächen weit genug öffnen, um den Gegner zu fixieren oder seine Deckung aufzubrechen. Fazit: Für Thaiboxen, MMA, Krav Maga oder andere Sportarten, bei denen man im Training oft die Regelwerke variiert, ist dieses Modell meiner Meinung nach super geeignet und sein Geld absolut wert.
