Classroom Activators: More Than 100 Ways to Energize Learners 2nd Edition

This book was the required text for a class I took to maintain my teaching certificate and advance in the pay scale. It has lots of useful ideas for keeping students engaged.

I purchased this book for a class my wife is taking. It is a cheaply made book with large print and the content is questionable in my opinion. Seems like just an attempt to make money by someone.For Amazon's part, the book shipped quickly and arrived on time.

Maybe if you have never taught before these moght be helpful, but for the most part there isnt anything exciting or innovative about the activities. I returned it.

I always struggled with energizers and being creative. Overall I really like the ideas and suggestions in this book because they re-engaged students in learning.

Lots of great ideas. I can't wait to practice them. They have activities that will work with any age group.

I use what I was able to quickly write down from the first time I heard him speak, and today I have downloaded the book (to my Kindle) but I have yet to read it. I have heard Dr. Evanski speak on 2 separate occasions. He is an amazingly gifted speaker and never seems to run out of energy! His ideas are simple and easy to implement in any classroom; with a few students or as he does, up to 200 in some instances! He understands what its like to be in a classroom and he practices what he preaches! Please keep sharing Dr. Evanski by writing your books and doing your presentations.

This book is packed full of practical strategies that can be used in the classroom. The strategies are easy to implement, too. Little or no props required. While reading this I kept getting those "A-ha" moments because it just makes sense. Evanski does a great job of labeling the ingredients of an energetic lesson. I have seen this man teach and he definitely practices what he preaches.

This is one of the best books for teachers to have. It's detailed and specific on the important things teachers in general should know and do with their students. I loved it and would recommend it to all who are in the profession.
