Wonderful paints; they have excellent coverage, even with lighter value colors on a dark primed miniature. They sit between Pro Acryl and Golden Liquid Acrylics in consistency and mix really well with either. Would have been nice if they had an agitator ball in the bottles but that is just nit-picking. For dry brushing don't use a wet palette and it will perform exceptionally well. Haven't tried their metallic colors yet but i intend to soon enough. I am strongly considering buying some of the expansion sets though this introductory set has plenty to work with if on a budget. Mind your choice of brush as it makes a fair bit of difference with the dried finish though for base coloring and washes anything but the cheapest of synthetics will suffice.

As a beginner mini figure painter, these colors are awesome for learning how to paint as well as mix my own colors. Get these and a paint thinner and you’re good to go.

Great quality paints. Thin enough to get good detail but thick enough you can get away with just one coat. Highly recommended for model painting and blending your own colors. Covers very well, and adheres as it should.

These acrylic paints are not messing around. It's a bit of a low bar, but these colors actually hold up. I've had figures painted with these for a couple of years now, and the colors haven't faded or flaked off. The secret, of course, is starting with a proper primer. Even the best paint needs a good base to stick to. Most paints say they're permanent, and you just sort of nod and hope for the best. With these, you can actually believe it. They're a solid, no-nonsense choice for anyone who wants to paint a figure once and not worry about it ever again.

The paint seems really nice but one of my bottles leaked in the package… Going to see if I can get the beasty brown replaced. Otherwise, they seem great!

great starter set

Another great paint set from Vallejo, this first purchase for me from their Game Color product line did not disappoint. The 'leather' half of the set, made up primarily of browns, tans, reds and 'B&W,' slid onto my minis and bases with the same (or better) creamy smooth and effortless application as the wonderful and more numerous Model Color (MC) paints. There's a nice color selection for leathers and hides included already, but for any custom shade you might decide you need, you'll be happy to find these GC paints mix every bit as easily as do their MC counterparts. I'm not so skilled yet that I actively need to consider blending as a big criterion for which paints I choose to use, but as it turns out, these GC paints do blend easily and thoroughly with the other GC leather colors, and almost certainly all of the other paints in the GC line as well. Two of the leather colors do double duty as flesh tones, one an off-white shade called Elfic Flesh, and the other a rich sort of chocolatey medium brown labeled Dark Fleshtone. Also included in the set are two inks (not washes), Black and Sepia, which are great for what I call 'lining in,' as well as for other detailed shading work on faces, leather, metals, other items and other GC and MC colors. The remaining colors from this Vallejo Leather & Metal Game Color set include a nice selection of 7 paints representing Bright Bronze, Glorious Gold, Polished Gold, Tinny Tin (almost black), Gunmetal, Chainmail Silver, and Silver, listed in order from darkest to lightest. I've not used the metal colors yet as much as the leather colors, but both are of the usual high quality I've come to expect from Vallejo, and I recommend them without reservation.

These paints are fantastic. Very high quality, easy to apply on 3D printed models and whatnot. Can't ask for much more. 10/10.

Los pigmentos son increíbles. Duran mucho con poco producto y cubren muy bien. He probado con y sin primer y ambos dan muy buenos resultados. La mayor cantidad de capas que he necesitado poner fueron 4 en el efecto de oro y porque no puse un color base. Estoy contentísima. El blanco dura poco recomiendo comprar un bote extra, que para mezclar viene bien.

Amazon è imbattibile il pacco è arrivato prima del previsto Tutti i colori sono in condizioni perfette la data di produzione è 11 e/o 12, quindi ottimo! anche se ho altri colori acrilici Vallejo vecchi di svariati anni e non ho mai avuto problemi l'importante e chiuderli perfettamente non seccano mai. Ideali per l'hobbistica ed il modellismo in genere. Consiglio: se ogni qual volta lo si ripone a fine lavoro si ha l'accortezza di mettere una piccolissima goccia di diluente Vallejo che ne ricopra la superficie (anche alcool isopropilico e acqua distillata 50/50 può andar bene) ne si prolunga la vita...

Les petits pots de peintures acryliques sont livrés dans une boite en carton à l'effigie de ce que vous avez commandé comme couleurs (peintures vives spécial jeu ou spécial pour enluminures)... et dans ce carton ils sont rangé dans une barquette en plastique. J'ai acheté la plus part des couleurs de cette Marque Vallejo et je peux dire que je n'ai jamais été déçue. Vous pouvez vous servir des peintures pour peindre vos maquettes, figurines, soldats de plomb... personnellement je m'en sert pour faire des enluminures. Cette peinture sert également à peindre avec un aérographe modélisme. La qualité des couleurs est bien respectée, la qualité elle-même de la peinture est excellente et sèche vite et ne coule pas.
