HOBBYWING Ezrun MAX 4985 SL Motor (SL-4985-1650KV) for MAX 6 ESC, 1/6th, 1/7th Vehicle (4985 Motor 1650KV)

This is a bad ass motor. I bought this for my Mojave EXB roller kit. I love this motor. I also bought one for my Felony. It's just a great basher motor.

I think this is a great motor paired with the Max6 ESC. It has a ton of power on tap. Tons of Torque and speed, best of both worlds in a motor.

Super strong and great forspeed runs. It takes everything my max5 throws at it.

I use this 1650kv in my 6s limitless with mamba 8s esc and it puts down power. 16/46 gear Ratio.They work very well and I’ve won serveal on road events with this setup. Only downfall is that I’ve broken 2 rotor shafts. But unlike castle i got it replaced under warrantyMake that now 5 shafts broken. Hopefully this matter gets addressed in the next HOBBYWING meeting. I can’t even have fun with this. Straight out the box the shafts are snapping.Make a warranty return now they’re trying to keep my money. Have to contact Amazon to further assist. Wouldn’t buy from these people/store again

easy install fast motor great torque on my Mojave BLX 6s only ran it a handful of times but will update if i have any issues paired with Hobbywing Max6 esc.

Works great in the truck, love the motor arrived with no issues. Would recommend to my friends.

if u want the moter to fit on the traxxas udr u have to do some drilling on the moter mount screw holes and u have to grind some of the heat sink lines off in oder to fit in or else the pin gear and spur will not touch but it does touch the transmission and if u have a hot racing drive shaft for the udr your gunna have to grind a little more of the moter

This motor lasted 2 charges… the shaft snapped off 5 min in on 2nd charge. Total waste of money. Don’t waste your time and money.

Came when said, no damage. Fits in my UDR with the Vitavon aluminum lower chassis with no issues, can't wait to race it on Sunday!!

3rd day out on the new motor and the shaft broke. Lets see if Hobbywing will warranty it.

Lots of power. Shaft broken within few runs. Not covered by warranty. Was told by service department that my gear mesh was wrong and that their motors shafts will break with drivetrain issues like that.
