Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Well let me list the reasons I love this fountain:- First I was worried about electrical shock but it is actually powered by a USB adapter like you use to charge your phone, less than 5 VDC (about 3 AA batteries) so no worry there.- I was also afraid that it would be a big mess but as you can see in my video it is a very low pressure and a shallow basin for them to drink from so also no worry.- I was concerned about the trash/dirt my small dogs drop into their water but this fountain recycles the water through a charcoal filter which I thought was an amazing idea since that pretty much keeps it clean at all times.- I did not realize that it has a soft light blue light inside that may look nice but what it really does is let me see at one glance how much water is left in the main container without having to stop it or take and trouble to see the water level (see video) and if it runs out the blue light turns red and shuts power off to the pump.- Cats and small dogs should have no problem using this fountain but I have one slightly larger dog (about 35 lbs) but he has a long snout and this does not work well for him so be aware but the two smaller dogs (about 15 & 22 lbs) with short snouts have no problem.- It recommends you clean it out every 2 weeks which is less often than I already did the water bowls so no big deal there and everything comes apart so it is easy to clean.Other than wondering how easy it will be to get replacement filters this thing is a perfect solution to watering small pets so 5 Stars from me!!

I bought this for my kitty who started to want to drink from a running faucet every chance she got. The instructions were marginal at best for set up but it is fairly self explanatory. I love that it’s filtered so the water stays cleaner. After a couple weeks use of only refilling it I clean it in soapy dish water. It is very quiet unless if it about half empty and even then it’s not annoying. The light is good so I don’t kick it in the dark but not necessary. My kitty loves drinking from it and doesn’t bug me nearly as much for the faucet now! I just wish there would be a link or recommendation on exactly what filters to buy. The rubber mat it comes with is pretty handy for catching any splash over from filling or if she plays in the water. It holds a generous amount of water so I don’t feel like I’m constantly filling it like I do with a plain bowl. The one thing to keep in mind is having an outlet near where you plan on placing it. It’s not battery operated so something to keep in mind on deciding placement. Overall I’m very happy I treated my fur kids to this!

Set up was easy, wash filter with clean running water prior to installing. I purchased this for my pet birds to drink out of which my lovebird does after he got used to it. He also drinks out of the dog's water bowl which is why I purchased this to try to stop that behavior as bacteria from the dogs water bowl can make a bird ill. The sound is calming which my cockatiel likes at night after covering his cage especially. The blue light is nice also at night. All in all a good purchase.

I love this. It's very quiet and so easy to clean and assemble. I really like the upright design much better than the low design that we had before. It's a great fountain and keeps the junk out of it, which I love.

It didn't take my new kitten any time to find this. I'm very pleased to provide fresher water and it not being served from plastic. You have to remember to refill but it's a breeze.

My kitty loves this fountain. She was getting mouth infections from the other fountain I had like this because of the top piece being plastic. With the switch to this fountain with stainless steel, her infections went away. Love that it lights up at night as well.
