Fantastic quality for the price these mic's work fine with my TIDRadio's
Originally I ordered 2 TIDRadio mic's for my GMRS TIDRadio's wanting to keep with the same brand name and the quality of the radio's is fantastic so I figured the mic's would have the same quality but that wasn't the case. So I have a BTECH GMRS radio and the mic was of great quality but it is the 2 button mic where I monitor and talk on 2 different channels. So I thought I'd give the single button mic's from BTECH and chance and I was not disappointed as these mic's are fantastic and plug right into my GMRS TIDRadio's. These mic's are almost commercial quality and almost as good as the Motorola mic's on my work radio. The cords on the TIDRadio mic's are short and small but these BTECH mic's have long and heavy duty cords so I am very impressed and would purchase these again. Oh yes as they are BTECH they have support right here in the US the state of South Dakota.

Snug connection and love the earpiece plug too
I bought this hand mic for my little Tidradio TD-H3 ht because i had the older Tidradio branded mics but they never seemed to plug into the two pin port snugly... this one snaps in great and is secure. The sound of it is better than the Tidradio brand speaker mics too... and I didn't know there was a headphone jack on it for plugging in an earphone until I got it! I tried plugging in a headphone and hte sound on it is very good. Not harsh like the crummy earpiece that came with my radios. Really impressed with this mic. and the price is good too.

Good product
Bought one of these a while ago and it’s been working great so I bought another one. Been using it with a Baofeng UV5R and use an aux cable to jack into my Walker’s Razor shooting ear protectors. This allows me to hear people talking right next to me and hear radio transmissions at the same time. I hunt with this set up so it’s critical I’m not blasting audio on a speaker. No one has complained about my audio quality and from what I’ve heard from my own mic check transmissions, I’m assuming the mic is good.I’m usually the only one not having comm issues starting the day out. The cable is super thick, I have no worries about being a bit rough with it. I also use it in my Jeep when driving around. Speaker quality is great and gets more than loud enough if I need it to.The clip is sturdy and does rotate 360 degrees. It will fit in molle webbing, so you can place it on a plate carrier.I took it up in the mountains recently where the temperature dropped below freezing and the snow coming down was wet and heavy. We were hiking around about 6 hours in those weather conditions. We all got soaked. This speaker mic held up just fine.Good value for the money. Would absolutely get another one if the need arises.

Dead on Arrival UPDATE
Given one star in favor of Amazon shipping speed.Item did not function out of the box.Fit properly, but keyed the radio without touching the PTT.Remained keyed, would not release. For Baofeng BF-F8HP.Item returned for replacement. Maybe the next one will work??Will update.Got really upset when the second one did not work and contacted Baofeng Tech. Seems it is necessary to apply an extreme amount of force to make the plug actually seat into the radio, at least in this one. At their suggestion, I applied enough force on the mic plug that I thought I broke the radio. Low-and-behold, it snapped into place and functions quite well. Learn something new every day. I've upgraded my 1 star review to 5 stars based upon BF's immediate response and input, plus the fact that this is a really good sounding addition to my BF-F8HP. Never be too proud to be humble !!!Received replacement with same results. Unit keys repeater as soon as it is plugged in. No audio from speaker. Two of these non-working units convinces me they're junk. I spend more time driving to UPS store than using my radio! Purchased via a debit card. Hope Amazon can refund or credit account. More often now, I get junk items from Amazon....WHY?? Do they have standards or quality requirements?

Tinny audio, quesitonable mic, and cannot transmit when you are using the 3.5mm jack
I tested this speaker mic using a Btech UV82 GMRS V1, and since it's a "Kenwood-type" interface also grabbed my Kenwood TH-D74A to test on a high end and a low end HT, and the speaker mics used for comparison were a Kenwood KMC-45D and a Kenwood SMC-34 again to get a quality speaker mic and a lower quality speaker mic both using a Kenwood-type interface. As you would expect, in any and all HT x Speaker mic combinations possible for both RX and TX, the QHM22D had the lowest quality. A huge let down is that if you connect a headset to the 3.5mm AUX on the QHM22D, it will no longer TX. You RX, but if you want to TX you need to hit the buttons on the HT itself. The only advantage to the Btech was that you can use the buttons to TX on both A and B bands, although it's somewhat odd that the main button will TX on the B band while the smaller secondary button will TX on the A band. That secondary button is small so hard to find and activate that quickly, especially if you're wearing gloves. So unless you specifically *need* a speaker mic that "matches" your Btech and has two buttons to TX (awkwardly), the name-brand speaker mic may cost 2x what this does and since we're not talking large sums of money overall to get a tremendously higher quality/value accessory I'd recommend going that route. If your budget doesn't permit that, at least consider looking elsewhere because this speaker mic - ain't the one.

Great radio mic
Got this ear piece about 2.5 years ago now. It's an amazing piece, sound quality is great. I use it for airsoft and it hasn't ripped yet lol. Using it with my Baofeng BF-F8. It can start to hurt your ear if you wear it for hours upon hours. But I take it out in-between games and it's just fine!I will definitely buy it again in needed

Very pleased...
Just what I ordered. Quality Mike, plugged right in to my Kenwood radio and the speaker is nice and loud, easily heard on noisey construction sites. I also received the package 2 days ahead of anticipated arrival date with UPS.

Works great !
Arrived sooner than expected.Sound quality is quite good compared to the mic that came with the baofeng .This mic was nice and clear and not "tinny" sounding as reported on the baofeng mic.Still had to "mic eat" the mic to get it to work great but that is the case with many non amplified mics.Happy with this mic and would buy again.
