MACOM i-Bra - Best Support Post Surgery - Front Fastening - No Cup Size Needed

Same bra as the hospital gave me. Post surgery band was a little tight, think about ordering a size up

Terrible so called " compression" bra for use following breast surgery. Poorly made and lacking any real support. The front fastening of eye and hooks are almost impossible to fasten together without numerous attempts. This is the second product l have bought from this manufacturer and l would not recommend either.

The bra looks good but unfortunately it’s arrived with stains on it!

The cat he’s nd the straps are so thin they snap the material is his single not a garment you want near your body why are they allowed to get away with selling expensive crap is there no control over selling garments like this this was a huge NO don’t buy

Very comfortable and easy to put on

Honest review: (4 days post op) I ordered 3 high end brands to wear right after surgery and this one is the most comfortable. I literally let out a sigh of relief when I took off the hospital bra and put this on. I have larger implants and find it to be very supportive and stabilizing (even on the sides), it hasn’t rolled up on me at all when I sit up or lie down, and isn’t rubbing my incisions underneath my breasts at all. The material is not irritating my skin, is compressive and has accommodated my swelling. As far as the fit, my band measurement is 33.5” and I’ve always preferred the fit of 36” bras, so I bought a large (36) and it fits perfectly. The iBra is made for larger implants and I feel that it’s doing its job. Yes it’s a bit see through, but it’s a bra, so I wear a shirt over it when I walk outside. Inside, it’s just my fiancé and I so it’s a non-issue.

I recently had a breast reduction and lift - after surgery, I needed additional bras that gave me support and had closures in the front - and I was also looking for longline bras because my incisions, although healing nicely, were very sensitive. The longline nature of this bra puts far less pressure on the incisions under and on the sides of my breasts - while still providing enough support to work out and feel safe and secure. I highly recommend these - I bought two colors because they are comfortable and work well. I also love that they aren't heavy - very breathable as the weather gets warmer!! Well worth the price.

Overall this works well for that post-surgical time period. I found it to be true to size although it did shrink with the first wash (I washed it in cold water and laid out to dry). The fabric is a bit stiffer than I had hoped and the front midline lower edge is a bit pokey. Because I only have to wear this for a few weeks, I can tolerate that as it meet all of the requirements that my surgeon specified (front closure, compression, no underwire). Also, there is a tag on the seam front and center which is odd. It’s good quality with these minor issues.
