Powerful, Reliable, and Built to Last — A True Essential for Any Worksite or Outdoor Setup
I’ve tested quite a few rechargeable work lights over the years, and this SYLSTAR COB 100W floodlight genuinely impressed me from the moment I unboxed it. It strikes a great balance between brightness, battery performance, and build quality — all at a very fair price point. 💡 Brightness & Performance: The 7000-lumen output is no exaggeration. It lights up an entire workshop, garden, or campsite with ease. The COB LEDs provide a wide, even beam rather than a harsh spotlight, making it perfect for detailed work or large-area coverage. I’ve used it outdoors for late-evening repairs and it genuinely turns night into day. 🔋 Battery Life & Charging: The built-in 10800 mAh battery holds up impressively well. On medium brightness, I easily get several hours of consistent light, and on the highest setting, around 3–4 hours. The rechargeable function via USB-C is a welcome feature — quick to charge and compatible with power banks if you’re off-grid. It can even double as an emergency power bank for phones, which is a thoughtful touch. 🏗️ Design & Durability: This is clearly designed for real-world use. The rugged, waterproof housing feels sturdy enough for construction sites, yet it’s light enough to carry around. The adjustable stand and swivel handle make it versatile — it sits well on uneven ground and can be angled precisely where you need light. The waterproofing has held up perfectly in light rain during testing. 🌲 Versatility: I’ve used it for everything from DIY projects in the garage to dog walks, car maintenance, and camping. It’s bright enough for professional trades, but also ideal for home and outdoor use. ✅ Overall Verdict: A fantastic all-round rechargeable floodlight — bright, tough, long-lasting, and genuinely useful. Whether you’re on a job site, camping trip, or just need reliable backup lighting, this is a product I can confidently recommend. Pros: Exceptionally bright (true 7000 lumens) Long-lasting 10800 mAh battery Waterproof and solid build Adjustable stand and carry handle Can charge devices via USB Cons: Slightly bulky for casual use — but understandable for its power output

THE BEST WORK LIGHT ON AMAZON BY FAR.
This work light is absolutely outstanding. I have many work lights of different sizes and shapes and heights and I'm super impressed with the performance of this one. It's incredibly bright and the carry handle makes it ultra portable. The built in feet also makes it perfect to be placed in any location. The light can also be angled in both directions from left to right and up and down. It's brilliant. It is also very well built. The quality of the material used to build it feels of good quality and very strong. It feels like if someone dropped it it would just bounce around and still carry on working. The charger cable and plug included work well to charge the product in a reasonable amount of time. As a complete package I absolutely love it. It's fantastic.

Very Bright, No Hot Spots
Websites are full of sellers/manufacturers claiming crazy wattage and lumen output, so it's not easy to find the right light. Spent more on this than I really wanted to, but the reviews and specs seemed to justify it. Out of the box, as others have noted, the carry handle was an inch too wide to fit, and it needed some re-adjustment via water-pump pliers. I thought it may cause the powder coating to flake off as it's a 'two-bend' at each end, but that didn't happen. Poor quality control letting these oversize handles ship. Battery: It showed three of four bars and it didn't take long to fully charge. I switched it to full-beam to discharge and it was almost the three hours quoted. I left it overnight to charge so I can't say what the charge time is. I like to run a few full-to-empty cycles with any new battery, but I can't say if this is a requirement these days. Maybe the older issue of Ni-Cad 'battery memory' is long gone. Light: I bought this to light a standard garage that has no power and the full high-beam is excellent for that. It was good to see the illumination so evenly spread, without a central hot-spot, at any setting. This was confirmed by pointing it skywards, and there was no 'searchlight' effect a large torch would give you. The unit does not get hot, no burn risk here. Just mildly warm. Strobe: The description shows a blue-red warning strobe, which would be a legal issue if using it as a breakdown warning, but mine is white-red, OK, but not perfect. It's also a very fast strobe. No steady blink-blink, more a manic panic-attack. Overall: A good buy, so far. Certainly better than a plastic DIY cheapy. It has a good weight to it and I think it would stand Trade use if it's not thrown about. The batteries can be replaced, but not the LEDs. (That said, I'm also buying a plastic DIY cheapy as a backup.) Recommended.

Great Workight
A great compact light. Assembly was a bit of a fiddle and the carry handle could be a better fit to the lamp body. The cover on the charging port is a good fit but not easily removed for charging. However impressive light output although I don't think it needs so many different light level options.

Very bright and robust
Fantastic work lights. Very bright and last for a long time on one charge. Lightweight and sturdy. Just be careful the plugs on the feet do not detach, overall very impressed.

Great Light, Great options but mediocre battery
Used to do a DB change. Not a bad piece of kit. Ridiculously bright on the very high setting and the one down from that. The red/blue alert option I imagine would come in handy if you were stuck by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and needed to warn someone of your presence….. The battery is ok, not amazing and definitely not bad but just ok. I’m thinking of modifying a dewalt battery mount to be attached to the stand I bought for it (sold separately) I have a dewalt 18v USB battery adapter. I’m going to see if this will improve the batter life of the light if it’s plugged into a 18V battery while it’s running….I will update this review when I’ve done that

POOR DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY
Just like another customer below has commented POOR QUALITY I too couldn't assemble the light as the handle is designed to wide to fit the side bolts Very poor quality – best avoided Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2025 Cheap and tasty Chinese rubbish. Simply appalling build quality. Handle too wide (by about 1cm) to screw into body. Parts of base not at right angles. Wouldn't trust the thing not to catch fire when plugged in.
