Dynamode 8 Way vertical 13A Switched Power Distribution Unit (PDU) For Server Cabinets And Data Centers 1.8M Cable

It's a useful set of plugs but it has a computer style plug rather than a UK mains plug (although the 8 sockets are UK mains sockets). I ended up snipping the plug off and wired in a store bought plug to use it, but the cable was plenty long enough so it wasn't an issue. Alternatively you could just use a computer plug, but I was trying to minimise the amount of cabling I had and organise the rat's nest a little. I used this behind my entertainment system and I wanted something that was sleek and could be mounted behind the sideboard and this worked out great. If there was something I wish could be improved it would be an option to swap the side of the cable entry from left to right but it's not a big deal.

I ordered this with a uk plug and cable coming from the right hand side. When it arrived it was a 2 pin plug and the cable was on the left hand side The extension itself looks ok tho

Am very disappointed to say that the PDU supplied was not as advertised. I specifically ordered this one which had the power switch on the left hand side as described. The one supplied had the power switch on the right hand side which defeated the reason for selecting this one. Also not supplied as advertised - the feed cable plug was not a UK square pin as shown but a C14 type connector which is no use to me.

The unit supplied has 19" PDU sticker when in fact it is 24" the photos in the advert refer to a different item. Really bad descriptions, so you can never be sure you will receive the item ordered.
