it arrived intact works very well i am pleased with the purchase
my 35 year old brothers 711 typewriter finally gave up and i needed a new typewriter i chosen the ibm wheelwriter 1000 as its replacement it works well right out of the box i use it for irs w-2 forms which requires a heavy impact typewriter for the varies carbon pages and other functions that can be performed by a computer i tried other brands and had to return them due to fact they defective or none functional as described however this one does the job well thanks
