Monstrum Shotgun Accessory Mount | Sling + Picatinny

After reading the reviews I was more than skeptical but since Amazon has a good reputation for returns, the risk was minimal. If it was junk, the world would read about it. Shipping was reasonably fast. Even arriving a day early. It was obviously used but serviceable. I expected to purchase longer screws but the reviews were inaccurate. It fits my Mossberg 500 12 ga perfectly. The mount and sling swivel are rock solid! It connects and disconnects perfectly and is very secure. What good is a sling you can't trust? I've installed an M4 style collapsible stock w/ pistol grip. I repositioned the rear sling swivel so that the sling mounts on the left side in alignment with the front, similar to the M1 Carbine. It's comfortable and practical. I took advantage of the rail by attaching a flashlight / blue laser combo that I'm also happy with. If my luck holds out, I'll never need it for self-defense. But I trust it if I ever do need it. Another added benefit that I really like... This particular shotgun has a 20" barrel with a 7 round extended magazine. I used the heat shield off my Mossberg Maverick 88 and there is no stop so it's possible for it to slide forward. This mount also acts as a secure stop for the heat shield. It's perfect! As others have mentioned, it doesn't come with instructions. But... unless you have issues with uncontrollable drooling, you should be able to figure it out in less time than looking at a picture or reading instructions. It's a high quality accessory that's well worth the price. I honestly can't find anything bad to say about it.

Easy install. Replaced a different setup I had for my sling and flashlight. This is a game changer. Put this on two of my Mossbergs. Love the qdr.

The product is sturdy, well built and does what it is supposed to do. My only complaint is with the instructions which were for a different sling attachment, and did not address the use for small sticky pads which came with the product. I still do not know what they are for. Other than that, I am pleased with the product.

I hunted the internet for a mount like this that would fit 20ga shotguns. I figured I would take a chance with it. It fits perfectly. The mount has 2 different sized cutouts, so to use on a 20ga I just rotated it lengthwise so the larger cutout is on the bottom towards the magazine tube. I am very pleased with the build quality and finish.

Just what I needed, sling mount and a short picatinny for my 500 Mariner. Nicely finished, secure fit, solid material and not grainy. Value for money.

Install simple, just enough rail to fit the light I had on a Mossy500. Decent quality for the price point. Could not justify $100+++ mounts for a shotty mount. This does what i need for a reasonable price.

Straight out of the box the parts were all okay, except for the actual QD Sling attachment. the mount for the rail, the bolts, everything except for the sling attachment were 100% fine. but the little baggy could barely be seen through with how much rust was inside of it. I was able to clean it of most of the rust but there was still pockmarks of rust that couldn't be scrubbed off without using a wire brush. If it weren't for the fact that I genuinely could not be bothered I would have requested either a return, refund, or just a replacement that wasn't corroded.

Ohh it'll work on...any shotgun....Kind of like a round peg will fit in any hole if you hit it hard enough with a sledge hammer. One would think the little commies in the orient couldn't possibly make things any cheaper or more worthless but here we have it. It will fit...yes...after cursing, wasting an hour of your life on what should be a five minute job. The screws are too short, they are cheap, strip out. On any Remington 870 12 ga you cannot use the padding so you will mare up your barrel and tube extension but once it's tight it won't move...hopefully. I bought this to allow the sling to ride alongside the shotgun and not hang directly under it blocking the weapon light I have integral into the pump handle. It'll work, but you will want to test it on the next railroad making honda driving barely human individual you come across. Que minus three until they remove this truly honest review because it hurts their feelings.
