Q: This fan is spec'd @ 1.06a. most motherboard fan connectors are rated up to 1a. are people not having any issues using these connectors w/this fan?

I used this fan on a hovercraft project about a year ago. The connector wasn't an issue at all hooking it up to lithium ion batteries and such. I'd say you'd have no issue using this on your mobo at all.

Q: Red is positive, black is negative-- is the yellow positive also? I'm trying to make a swamp cooler with this fan but didn't realize it was a 4 conne

The Red is usually the power wire, and yellow is either power or speed sensor wire. For the PWM 4 pin connector wiring, you can search online for wiring colors, or let us know if you have any other questions.

Q: Can someone confirm if 1.06 amps is accurate. mobo headers are 1amp, it would be cutting the thread very close. pwm can be lowered but still?

I am running two 120mm Delta fans in my new PC.They are controlled via a fan speed controller.So far no crashes or power related problems.PSU IS A 1000 watt Corsair,motherboard is a ASUS X 570.

Q: How long is the wire connector lead?
