Update November 2023: The only downside of this light is if you buy two (which I did), the remote works for both lights. According to the seller, the signal is the same for every light, so the lights can't be turned on or off individually. That's problematic for multiple use. If you only want one light, it's a fantastic one to get. A camping light with a remote. Yay!! WHY hasn't anyone thought of this before? I can get settled down in the sleeping bag and use a remote control to turn the light off. Or if I wake up and need a bit of light but don't want to get out of my sleeping bag. I'll never buy any other type of camping light. This is SO handy. It's the only remote control camping light I have come across. I have bought two of these lights and am going to buy a third for my grandson. So many features: Reliable remote that always works, a few different light settings, a red option, dimmable, excellent battery life, usb-c, built-in carabiner hook, and a magent. I tried attaching it to fridge door to try it out, but it slid down. It might hang better from the bottom of something. I have no need for a magnetized light, so that's not an issue for me. I have an electrical problem in a room indoors and the light won't work, so this light is useful inside as well.

I have two of these lanterns and they are fantastic, very versatile with the different light temperatures, great battery life and lightweight. They go very very bright, so much so that I can hang them in my living rooms and you wouldn’t know the difference between mains lights and these. My one gripe is that the remote controls are not coded to each specific light. Each remote will control all of the lights, this could be annoying, but so long as you are aware of that and know to properly turn off the unneeded lights on the lamp themselves, only keeping the one you want to use on ‘remote standby’ then you can live with it (such as one in your tent bedroom). The range on the remote is quite low but this is important since it will control other lights, being able to block the signal with your body or something is useful. Great light! The USB charging output is a useful feature, but I’d rather carry dedicated power banks rather than run my lights dry. UPDATE: Since I initially reviewed these lamps I have been able to use them on several camping trips and I have to say that the battery life is incredible. 6 nights and used for 30 mins to an hour every evening and the battery was still indicating 75%. The convenience of a remote is fantastic once you get into bed and if you need to get up in the night as well.

I bought this light to go in the back of my van that is semi converted for camping. It was fantastic. The different light modes are great with really good variability of brightness. I particularly liked having the red light for when I woke up in the night. And when I needed to I charged my phone from it as well. Then I brought it into the house in the winter to use as a filler light when I am recording videos and I know love having it hanging above my monitor so I may have to buy another one when the van is in use again - and I took it to a friend's house, and used it in their bedroom as they don't have a table lamp by the bed and it was great for that purpose too. It's just lovely when I buy a piece of kit and it works and makes my life better!

Excellent camping light with a remote operation! So glad I bought this as you can turn it on before you get in your tent in the dark! It has many modes from dim white to really bright and dim red to bright red. Would buy again! Love it!

I'm giving this three stars. Deducting one star for the terribly weak and prone to snap hanging hook. I'll be removing that and threading some parachord through with a metal clip attached. I've also deducted another star (*see below, I've added another star to 4) because, and this is a big negative, it only accepts a charge at 150 mAh!! This battery (the two 18650 cells) is claimed a total of 6,400mAh. So that'll take the best part of 42 hours to recharge! In reality, I bet they have lied about the battery and it's probably around 5000mAh so it should take around 33 hours to recharge. I've just used it from fully charged to flat on full power and I believe I got around 6 hours on full power, which was good. At some stage in the evening the light automatically dimmed itself to a lower power as the battery drained. After about 10 hours of being on it was very dim, less than a phone light on full power. It would still dim and brighten, though only to the lower full power. It's a good little light and the remote control works very well. Again, like the other bigger light they sell, which I also bought, I am flummoxed as to what use the silly flashing red light is. Other than to trigger epilepsy. It's useless. What would have been very useful is to have a constant red light feature so we can use this at night without losing your night vision. But alas, we're stuck with ridiculous flashy red lights. I'll update this after a few charge and discharge cycles to tell you the actual battery capacity and how long it takes to charge with a dedicated fast wall charger and good usb cable. Finally, it would have been much better to see these fitted with a USB C plug rather than the obsolete micro USB plug. *EDIT: After 15 minutes of being plugged in the recharge rate jumped to from 150 mAh to 1.57Ah! Brilliant. 10x as fast as my previous calculations. So the recharge rates should be around 3.5-4 hours now. We'll see. Capacity check from flat: 5587mAh. That's not too bad.

Wir nutzen die Lampe beim Camping mit WoMo - zack ans WoMo (via Magnet kein Problem - auch bei aufgeladenen Akku nicht :)) und alles unter der Markiese ist ausgeleuchtet! Aber auch der Clip zum aufhängen funktionier 1a! Und der Clou: riesen Powerbank für unterwegs Wir sind total begeistert PS: richtig schönes Licht!

Lampada eccellente, 3 tipi di luce chiara, sarebbe stata il top con la luce rosa fissa ma contanti sulle 3 varianti di bianco si trova sempre il colore desiderato. Telecomando praticissimo e che non perde un colpo, il magnete è abbastanza affidabile. Sono davvero contento dell'acquisto, il prezzo non è tra i più bassi ma abbiamo tra le mani un ottimo prodotto con una batteria di grande capienza
