Yes it fits, but XBOX One must be mounted horizontally for it to work properly.

can i mount it with mounting tape

I tried using mounting tape yesterday. Worked for a few hours. What happened was that the heat generated by the cable box softened the adhesive, so we were greeted by a huge THUNK when the whole thing fell to the ground. I considered re-mounting it while cold to allow the adhesive to "set" first but decided to stop messing around and mount it with screws.
