Sturdy and works
I used it to program my ESP 32 boards, and it worked wonderfully, the box is so much more sturdy than just having another bare chip lying around and for what it does I think the price is exactly right. (The spare jumper is v. useful for connecting the 32CAM 0 to ground whilst uploading too)

1v8 support…!!!
One of the few units I found that supported 1v8 I/O. Worked out of the box with my Win11 and Ubuntu machines. A great buy.

Working as it should
Works well to power a hc12 transmitter module that requires and extra tx and rx on a raspberry pi3

Plastic enclosure is great for longevity
Last FTDI I have just stop working. The problem with a lot of these FTDI modules is they are just circuit board. Handling these PCB doesn't do them any good from a static point. This unit being in a plastic housing removes this static issue. Three voltage range is great. I'm using these to reprogram ESP8266 devices. I've got a number of SONOFF switches that I needed to upgrade and change the setting on. This handled those older unit perfectly.

No problems
Was a little unsure which unit to buy as so many are available but choose this as cost was reasonable. Used it a few times (from a MacBook) which no problems.

Helped unbrick a netgear r7000
Followed a tutorial online and using this I managed to unbrick my netgear r7000 after a failed install of a 3rd party firmware. Now the router is back and running fresh tomato and I couldn't be happier

This device worked first time! Very happy I have tried a couple of the FTDI devices from ebay, however I believe they use dodgy FTDI chips which when used with the genuine drivers, they are bricked. This however comes boxed, includes instructions and some female>female dupont cables. Geninue FTDI drivers worked perfectly. If your looking for a usb > serial converter for Arduino projects / Tasmota, this device works a treat. Wish I had have found it first, it would have saved a couple of hours.

Utilisé pour « flasher » un lecteur Gotek. Fonctionne parfaitement. Le câble fourni est très utile pour les connexions. Je conseille pour sa facilité d’utilisation. La qualité de fabrication est très bonne.
