Pork King Good Salted Butter Pork Rinds (Chicharrones) (4 Pack) Keto Snacks

So I am required to eat gluten-free. That said, these snacks fit perfectly into my diet. In the past I have not really been keen on pork rinds, however now I like them thanks to this brand!The flavor is spot on and not too much or too little. Only negative is that they are a bit salty for my liking. Most probably won't find them any saltier than your average American crisp/chip.

I absolutely love these pork rinds. They have the same texture as regular pork rinds but the added salt and butter makes it creamy and salty and it doesn't get dry in my mouth so much that I can't swallow it. On the regular pork rinds I find it difficult to swallow sometimes. These do not dry out my mouth. Way to go!They a bit on the pricey side.

Each flavor is a different experience, but there are a couple things to note.∙ All bags have good quality control for texture. Out of all 10 bags, only one of the pork rinds was slightly overcooked (hard). Otherwise, they're quite light and easy on the teeth.∙ The bags/portions feel quite small, but they're still filling.Per Flavor, things are a bit different...Pepperoni Pizza: These rinds are really porous, and that means they can take up flavor really well. The issue here, is that this bag had too much flavor. I was overwhelmed with the spices, and ended up giving the bag to my partner, who happily finished them. This is a hit or miss bag. Either you'll love the flavor packed into these things, or you won't. The most prominent note was the spice of the pepperoni for me.Salted Butter: These were a big hit. They tasted like a wonderful popcorn alternative. Light, buttery, awesome. I'd order these again and again for special occasions.Stupid Hot: This bag lived up to its name. As someone who doesn't not like spicy food all that much, I ended up giving this bag immediately to my partner. I was still curious and tried half of a pork rind. I'm glad I gave the bag away. They're much hotter than Hot Cheetos or even the typical spicy pork rinds that you can get for $2 at a local store. My partner loves spicy, but sometimes it makes him hiccup... these skipped the hiccups and he was just straight crying through the whole bag. He was several bites in before he realized the spice comes in waves.Dill Pickle: These had a very good dill flavor, and you can taste the brininess too. I found these a little overwhelming for me, like with the Pepperoni Pizza and gave them to my partner, who really enjoyed them. I think these would've been better (to me), if I had added a dash of garlic and onion powder to help balance the flavor profile a little. This may work for you if you experience the same problem I did!Nacho Cheddar, White Cheddar, Smoky Jalapeno & Cheese: Underwhelming. The cheese flavor in all three bags were quite lacking. In the smoky Jalapeno, I didn't even taste the cheese.Ranch: The flavor was okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. Especially at such a premium price. In this instance, you're better off buying original flavor and dusting some hidden valley ranch powder into it. I could taste some of the individual spices, but it just didn't marry the way I wanted it too.Pink Salt & Vinegar: At first, I was underwhelmed, but the flavor is cumulative. A few chips in and I really started to taste and feel it. This is a flavor I would purchase again.Onion & Sour Cream: This flavor really shined. The onion flavor was very present, but you can still taste the tang of the sour cream. The is also a flavor I would purchase again.Overall, I'd recommend the Salted Butter, Pink Salt & Vinegar, and Onion and Sour Cream. The other flavors were either underwhelming for the premium price, too spicy, or the flavor was too potent for my taste.

The flavor on these is great. They taste very salty and delicious and have the perfect crunch. The temperature on these is no spice so they are great for anybody who can’t handle spice. Also keep in mind. These are carb free. Snacks for anybody, as they are very healthy. Opening them might be a little difficult but just use some scissors or a knife and you’ll be fine. As with any other product, you cannot return these as they are a food product. Salty and tangy!

I ordered this variety 10-pack so I could taste all of the flavors and just order my favorites going forward. Overall, the pork rinds have a fantastic texture: very light and airy, with a couple pieces of extra crunch in each bag. They did not turn gummy or get stuck to my teeth like a number of brands do.Flavor-wise, it was very hit or miss for me with only two flavors being something I'd intentionally reorder. I did send this 10-pack to my mom and she said the flavors she tried were way too salty. I'm not a fan of salt, but only the Salt and Vinegar and Dill Pickle flavors felt overly "salty" to me (they hit on the tongue like salt, but I think the Dill occurred that way for me due to the flavoring and not due to actual salt).Dill Pickle and Salt and Vinegar were my two least favorites. I couldn't eat more than just a few of them and tossed the bags out.The Stupid Hot has a great heat that definitely builds. If you're a massive heat fan, it probably won't be nearly enough for you. For most folks, these may be too spicy.My favorites were the Nacho and White Cheddar versions. They stayed flavorful through the full bag and they're the only two where I wish I had more once the bags were finished.The Pepperoni didn't strike me as tasting like a pepperoni pizza, but they were fine.If you like buttered popcorn, the first few Salted Butter pieces you eat will be delicious. I found the flavor kind of disappeared about halfway through the bag. Overall, the flavor's on the mild side, but still pretty good.Smoky Jalapeno was pretty good, but it seemed like the overall flavor was missing on maybe half of the bag. For the pieces that had the flavoring, they were good enough for me to reorder.Neither of the Onion and Sour Cream or the Ranch versions tasted like those flavors. If I didn't know the flavor on the bag, I would have had a difficult time guessing what they were supposed to be. They're mildly flavored and inoffensive, but I probably would not reorder them.
