This Netum wireless barcode reader feels robust and is able to stand up to the rigours of regular use. When turned on, it projects a red aiming rectangle to show exactly where it's scanning. When the trigger is depressed, the scanner emits a bright flash of white light and reads the barcode. I tested the scanner with all manner of barcodes and it was able to read them all.The included manual should accommodate just about any changes one might wish to make to the scanner's settings including different keyboard languages.One downside of the scanner is that it has no integral place to store the Bluetooth dongle when not in use. I'll need to keep an eye on that dongle and make sure I don't lose it. For that, the product loses a star. If the dongle is lost, the scanner can always be used with a USB cable but this certainly hinders its versatility.All in all, a good scanner that should provide many years of service.

This barcode reader is great for my infantry system. I use this when selling things online to ensure they are the right product.it allows me to scan 2D and 1D barcodes which is great because I use both to scan bar codesit can be used Bluetooth but I prefer to use the wireless adapter included or when I'm close to my computer

This is an interesting gadget that can scan anything from 1D codes to QR codes. You either use it wired or wireless via Bluetooth, you just need to scan the corresponding codes from the manual to pair.I use this bar code to catalogue my old CDs and DVDs but you can use it for all sort of listings.A robust scanner that works well but one main gripe is there isn’t a slot to hide the dongle which in my opinion is an oversight as losing this dongle will be annoying.

If you need to use a scanner throughout the day for long periods of time, this is a good choice. The scanner has a long battery life, on a full charge I have used it continuously for several days in a busy convenience store without having to recharge. It's applicable with Windows and can easily be configured as an input for your system. You can connect it to your device via Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz mode or via USB wired. All of the connection modes have similar performance, with USB having the most reliable and fastest input.You can configure the speed of the input with the included barcodes in the box, by simply scanning them the settings will change automatically.The scanner performs well with Barcodes under plastic or with reflections, on paper, on a screen and much more, It's very versatile and reliable with the codes, it also recognises QR codes.It feels great in the hand too, I've used scanners which are often too boxy or too cylindrical and they feel annoying to use after a few hours, it's definitely worth looking for an ergonomic shape which fits the hand well.

Works from a good distance away and is accurate every time it's used. Battery life is very good and the Bluetooth signal is also able to cover a good 15 to 20m before any issues are apparent. Comfortable to use.

I am using this barcode scanner to itemise all of the tools in my works workshop. I currently hold approx 6000 tools for aircraft maintenance. I will soon have them all neatly bar coded in one place and will use it when i'm coming to issue tools out or collect tools in. It is a bit laborious to start this project, but it will be future proof. This is a good scanner. It recognises through clear plastic which is what i use to keep the tools from the elements. So i couldn't ask for anything more really. All you see with other reviews, storing dongle could be an issue. But i don't really need wireless so we are golden. Excellent and highly recommended.
