Off reels or coils
This item works there will on my balcony. This controls the mosquitoes and the flies outside on my porch. IT'S a great product for the price. It has no loud smell either.

The OFF! brand works the best.
This is by far, hands down, the best mosquito repelling coils. Yeah the others are cheaper and don't smell as bad but they don't work nearly as well as the actual "OFF!" brand. Trust me, I've tried em all and I'm a bit of a cheap-ass. Spend a little more for the good stuff.

Scent too strong for other people in the household

Classic for a Reason!
Not high tech, but they work! That classic citronella smell coupled with the fact you can trim them off if you don't use up one of the coils makes these a must in our packs and cabin. Some of my coils came broken. Not a problem You can light one and then pile others on top to get the same coverage. Order the little clay pot holders for peace of mind cuz the wind CAN blow over the little metal stands and then you have burning material where you don't want' it.

The best solution I've found
I had tried everything to scare away the mosquitoes in my kitchen, since it's outside. Electric, aromatic devices, nothing at all gave me good results. Until I decided to buy this. I turn it on every morning when I go out and it scares them all day. And I only turn it on while I'm away and then cut it where it's on and save the rest for the next day. It has given me a lot of results. It has a somewhat noticeable smell but if you put it in a remote corner it does not feel so much and still acts very well in a very large area. The only bad thing to take into account is that being delicate, of the two times I have ordered the product I have always received at least one broken. But it's nothing that can't be taken advantage of. Also advise buying the base to make it easier to use. These are just the refils.
