Fox 40 Micro Pealess Safety Whistle with Lanyard 110 dB Pink 9513-0408

First off the fact that its a Fox 40 is enough for 3 stars alone. Secondly its well built for the purpose intended. Some complain that you need to blow hard to get it to work. A quick short breath gets the job done. This is a pea less whistle. I personally use these in hiking kits for emergencies. The last thing you want is something to go wrong with a survival tool and less moving parts mean better chance for success. If you think this is good for coaching your wrong, its not designed for that. If you can't figure out how to get this to work properly what are you doing out of the city in the first place. I bought this whistle for the pocket of my police uniform. I work as a cop near the beach. If we need to holler to surfers, or get attention, we need loud whistles or have to use this awful bullhorn. This whistle is small enough (and flat) to fit comfy in a pocket, and loud enough to mean business. I bought it in pink because I'm a girl. And none of my co-workers will dare steal it when it's pink, haha.

The only thing I would implore FOX 40 to do is add the rubber sleeve to the mouth piece like all my other FOX 40 whistles to stop the slipping. Thankfully it's only for the month of October or my teeth would be broken from having to clinch this tight.

The color is perfect. Not real loud. But it serves the purpose!

This is a small but loud whistle. Great for what we intended it for. The break-away lanyard is a little too easy to pull apart, but the spring loaded adjustment button can be moved all the way up to the break-away parts to "lock' them in place.

This doesn't come close to sounding like a whistle. WTF? I could get more sound out of bowing into a paper bag.
