Seems to work as advertised but one unexpected outcome is that you can only listen to one zone at a time. Powering on a wall plate from another zone will shut off any zones that are already playing.Edit: added 1 star. After a few days multiple rooms were able to play at the same time. Initially when reviewing I had two cat5 plugged in, then i plugged in two more, completing the row. Now I can listen to all four rooms at the same time. Hopefully this is not indicative of future problems with the device.

This unit did not work at all. I had to send it back.

it is exactly what I needed for a job.

We've had one of these for years. Just a week ago, our house was surged by lightning and it burnt this module up; so I just ordered another. It's worked well and we've enjoyed having it in our house. A couple of years ago we had one of our power supplies go bad, so we bought a new one; no big deal. Other than that, no real problems. The only reason I am going w/4 stars is, the documentation and website for the Russound could be better. I would like to get the remote and perhaps add some additional components, but neither the manual or website are the easiest to use or understand.
