I was recommended this blanket to help me with my severe PTSD - at 1st I was dubious of its efficacy.I put the weighted blanket on top of my duvet & got into bed. The feeling of the blanket transported me back to childhood (pre duvet) sleeping at my grandparents under thick sheets, weighty copious numbers of blankets, counterpanes & eiderdowns on top of a feather mattress all of which pinned you to the bed rendering you unable to move - I remembered how well I slept back then!I can report I got the best nights sleep in 3 years it really works.I also tried it whilst babysitting a challenging 5 year old who has ADHD, is hyperactive & refuses to stay in bed - after placing the blanket on the bed & said child under blanket - 4 pages into reading a story he was in the land of Nod & stayed put until 5am!I also put it on a newly backed horse who was resisting loading onto a horse box & it had an immediate calming effectAll round a brilliant sleep & calming tool

I ordered 2 blankets, a large and a smaller one for my daughter and myself. Not knowing much about these items I didn’t realise that even though one is smaller than the other, they both weigh the same, this means the smaller one I bought for my 12 year old is much heavier per inch than the other, it’s very heavy, i do have a bit of a bad back at times but lying under it for any length of time becomes uncomfortable...It is, however, really lovely to wrap up in to read or watch tv...especially with the weight on my belly and chest and tucked under my hips...The fabric and finish are lovely quality, going to persevere as I love the swaddled feeling, often anxiety can have you feel as though you’re spinning out a bit but feel securely anchored with the blanket.It’s a shame you can’t try before you buy with these products as I think it’s very much personal preference.

I am VERY disappointed. The description said it was a weighted blanket AND a cover but in fact it is just a cover therefore no good at all. Feeling very sad and disappointed about being misled.

I got a gravity blanket but wasnt massively keen on the texture. The fleecey side of the blanket cover is excellent. I like that the cover is secured to the blanket by tying it inside.

Good weight for adult. Beads distribute well but too hot for use except in winter which disturbs sleep also.

Great for keeping my blanket clean ties on all the way round to secure it.

Order this product for help with insomnia, it worked! The only downside I have with it is, I couldn’t keep warm whilst sleeping? But is definitely worth the money!
