Very informative book about the various mystical places around the world. I would have liked to have more about the scientific origins of earth's energy, vortices and chakras.

I want to say good things but can't. The book is basically a simplistic regurgitation of very basic information with no substance. Most of the book consists of descriptions of geographic locations and a bit of history that anyone can get via a simple Google search, and with Google, you also get a plethora of images, something missing almost entirely from the book. Super disappointed in this book. Move on. Unfortunately, there aren't any good books written on this subject, yet.

I don't care how many people use the word "vortexes", this spelling is improper. The word, "vortex" comes from Latin and the PROPER spelling of the plural (translated to English) is "vortices."

Only disjointedness in the fact that most of the book focuses on locations and not the actual idea of there being chakras.
