Is the liquid supposed to be milky? i opened mine and the liquid is white in color.

Yes, the liquid is milky white and thick. This is one of the most effective Vit D that I have ever used!

My bottle says 50 mcg, however it does not say 2000 iu? How do I know it contains that amount?

50 mcg = 2000 iu (in other words, it's the same thing)

Is this product still absorbed well seeing as it does not contain vitamin K2 like most vitamin D supplements do?

On the whole, drops are better absorbed than tablets. I take K2 and magnesium to help absorption concurrently with any D3....and with this specific product. No D3 should stand alone for optimal absorption. With this product, recommended by my doctor, I know that I am getting a high quality D3 with which I realize is best to not take alone for optimal absorption.

In the description it says it is vitamin d3, but on the bottle label it does not mention vitamin d3. is it d3?
