Pink 100% Silk Pillowcase Travel Size 12x16

Bought the Pink and the White Versions. For the "pink": Mine measures 16" X 11 3/4". It is not 'pink' per se, as one would think of pink. I hear pink and I think cotton candy, bubblegum, Paris Hilton :). This is more like water-colored down version of mauve. Or a pink with a drop of gray in the dye lot. But wait! It's actually a beautiful soft color. Not a pastel feeling. Just a very sophisticated color. Like you might find in a 'spa hotel'. When I brought it under the florescent lights, it shows more pinkish, but then who has florescent lights in the bedroom! Under a 100 watt regular bulb, it has that more mauve-pinked color. The photo shows a lot of pink in the case, but it's not what you'd call "pink". I actually LOVE the color. The "undye" white is PURE white,I have no idea about the "undye" part. (Maybe the threads are in there natural white state??) My white one measures 16 1/4" X 11 1/2" It is what you'd call an envelope style where there are a few inches overlap in the back, and you stuff the pillow into the case. This is great. The pillow won't slide out of the slippery silk case. The overlap 'flap' in the back is turned under and then cleanly sewn. All internal seams are clean finished with a sort of zig zag stitch. So no fraying. The fabric is clean and smooth, not wrinkled to hell and back and with no thread 'pulls' or 'runs'. No strings hanging all over that have to be clipped off. Not a mar to be found on either case. They each came in their own little champagne colored organza pouch with a satin ribbon closure and a small satin rosette sewn onto the middle of the pouch. (The rosette is not as big as shown in the photo, but who cares, it's pretty!) Even the pouches are flawless. Not a pull or defect anywhere. And you know how organza will 'pull'! I don't know why these organza pouches were included as they really don't serve any purpose other than a beautiful presentation. Wrapped in tissue in a box, these would make an elegant gift. So I am not going to knit pick about the pouches because they would be wonderful holding potpourri, ribbons, small items, etc. Not when it's an extra treat on top of some great SOFT pillowcases. There is also a small nicely printed paper in each pouch with the washing instructions. Haven't washed them yet. Will update if any problems arise. Now I have no idea what "Mulberry Silk Charmeuse" is, but so far I LOVE LOVE LOVE these cases.

Perfect size for a travel pillow. It didn't fit my buckwheat pillow but I had a travel pillow that it fit perfectly. Seems very well made and of good quality. I don't use it often so haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on that.. Pretty shade - more of a blush than a pink.

Soft, hair saver, surpringly durable in washing machine.

This is my second purchase of this pillowcase. It’s the only size silk case I’ve found that fits my travel pillow. My last one lasted a long time, but fragile silk doesn’t last forever.

Seems kind of on the small side.

This is seriously a joke. I used to have a silk pillowcase I loved that I used for travel (to place over pillowcases in hotel rooms or to have on the flight) but this is Doll sized. Not even worth keeping to wash nylons in.

This case was smoother, softer, and sturdier than I expected and such a pretty color. It's almost one of the Pantone colors of the year- rose quartz- but a bit cooler. My curly-haired toddler still won't use a pillow, but I anticipate fewer tangles with this case.

I was surprised this wasn't better because I also purchased a large one for my regular pillow which is much better. The seams weren't sewn tightly, and little holes puncture through it like nothing. Not sure why it's lesser quality than the regular sized case.
