VERY GOOD VINYL AND GOOD COVER. LIGHT COVER WEAR. LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES ON THE VINYL. 2 DISC SET. DEREK AND THE DOMINOES. Review: One of the best classics out there. - Timeless classic not just for Clapton fans. Great music for the masses! Review: The best of Eric Clapton's career. - The last and best of the "Super groups" of the 60's. Eric Clapton assembled a stellar album using the rhythm section of Delaney and Bonnie's touring band with the addition of Duane Allman on slide guitar. Very Highly Recommended!

A masterpiece from the greatest decade in music.
This is one of the most under appreciated albums of the sixties and seventies. Classic rock stations should put all the cuts on this album on rotation.

Oldie but goodie
Good to hear Clapton in his early days. The sound quality of the cd is not top shelf. Being it isn't remastered from the original press. Gives you the sound of the ol LP days. Bringing back the days of ol school records. We'll worth the investment

Rock Classic, CD Sounds Fine but No Digital Info
This is not a review of the music, everyone knows it's a rock classic, rather this is a review of the CD product. Everything is fine as far as packaging and audio quality, the only thing I noticed was that no digital info displays regarding song titles or the length of the song. The only thing that displays is "Title 1", "Title 2", etc.

Fantastic album -beautiful artistry that endures
I have always loved this album. It's awesome. The title says it all "Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs." The songs are all about love, unrequited love, heartbreak, sadness & more love. The cover painting is iconic & lovely. Eric Clapton, Duane Allman & all who played & sang on this album are/were incredibly talented. Derek & The Dominos only album is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Outstanding Album from 1970
In 1970 I was still in High School. This album was everywhere on the radio but it just didn't connect with me. Now 54 years later, I am blown away. It is outstanding and an important add to everyone's collection.

No comment on the music - „Layla …“ is on of the greatest bluesrock recordings ever. It was relevant then and still is today. Pressing and sound quality of this vinyl issue are imho perfect. Some reviewers here have rated the sound and pressing quality down - I definitely do not agree to that. The discs are perfectly plane, there is no hiss and the mixing is definitely not muddy and gives not to much weight to the bass. Remember folks: it’s a recording from the early 1970s The sound of this vinyl edition is clear but not as sharp as currently available mp3 releases e.g. on popular streaming platforms, providing a very smooth and comforting listening experience that takes you back in the time. I have also the live recording of E.C. in San Diego 2007 (with J.J. Cale) where he covered a lot of material from this album, but the original recording remains unmatched.
